Re: In the Lich's tomb

In reply to Kirpich Rockson (msg # 804):

You are going to have to move about twelve yards of earth to effect an exit.

The wall holding the portcullis with the worm on the other side shudders, and the portcullis falls, releasing the worm... luckily there are three rotted gnolls nearby...

In reply to Narrator (msg # 805):

Once Kirpich has moved about half the earth, he will move some to half close the tunnel behind the group, leaving enough space for air...before continuing his tunneling.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

Danos, not being comfortable in such tight spaces, is staying very close to Kirpich so that he won't get crushed by the moving earth.

"I believe I am safe from the walls."

Not wanting to leave any behind, Kirpich ensures Chunky is there too, and waits to be sure all others are there before narrowing the path.

The tunnel Kirpich is making is a yard wide by two high.

From what area are you carving it? From the throne room and its approach, or the upper level?

Re: In the Lich's tomb

Were there any hills or terrain features on the surface that we can take advantage of to aim between our new route and the main entrance?

In reply to Stringfellow Hill (msg # 815):

There was a portion of wall you may be coming up on the opposite side of.

To be as far from the entrance as possible, you would unfohave to dig out from a deeper level

Looking at some energy cost.

You need 10 yards up, oe a climbable slope of 15 long by two yards high to be moved. (3/4/5 right triangle for calculation)

In message 208 I rolled 5 shape stone rolls. Are more needed? He can move 2 cubic yards for free with each casting, taking extra time to ensure he gets the supports right.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 820):

Nah. Slow and steady wins the race. Save strength for when he needs it.

But he will put in a few stone supports, just to be safe.

[Private to GM: Is the -5 to his spells still in force? Assuming not, due to destruction of glyphs, he rolled under by 4,13,7,9,5,11,12,8,8,9 and extras 10, 10 just to be sure.

Earth to stone for supports, rolled under by 11,11,8,9,11,11

Since he was at the back, Stringfellow will wait for the others to clear a path before he exits as well. He pulls out his bow and gets ready.

Syvanus motions the others forward and points away from Kalvo and company ... he leads them to a location of better concealment and looks for a concealed escape route.
