"That's it.  For today.  Let's go split this with t'e crew."

OOC:  It'd only 10 copper each.  But hey, 10c for walking across town and no risk?

"and no Frank, you are not invited."

In reply to Mario Crowfoot (msg # 583):

Jareth and company return to the house, while Evaine returns to the guild, and Frank heads off to a tavern.

The house needs some work, a little cleaning, and probably locks for the doors, although they do have bars inside.

I can lock some against all but mages... but they won't be usable to us without my dispelling the spell.

Re: Below Junior House

"That would work for doors we don't need to use regularly, but for doors we need to pass frequently, it would make much more sense to have actual locks installed.

"That shouldn't be expensive -- $50 in labor and $40 or $60 for the actual locks, I'd think."

The bars stop just about everyone, and we'd be awakened by anyone trying to break in.

Re: Below Junior House

In reply to Mario Crowfoot (msg # 589):

Much of the area between Berthold's basement and Junior House show signs of orcish hooliganry; crude graffiti, clods of mud thrown at whitewashed walls and the like. A few human folk are out yrying to paint over or wash off the offensive markings.

Re: Below Junior House

"I'm not sure if that's just orcs being orcs, or if it's tied to juggers.  Either way, it'd be nice if they'd stop."

Mario unslings his bow and staff and goes over where the cleanup is underway, picks up an unattended rag and starts scrubbing at markings that look more like soot, chalk, or mud than actual paint.

"Just like back with the Brothers, except here, I won't get a whipping if I don't do a good enough job."  He looks around.  "I hope."

Mellarill smiles... an odd sight, as she doesn't often.  Crotchsniffer wags his tail wildly and approaches the boy, looking to be petted.

Re: Below Junior House

Nodwin is making his way back to the house to meet up with the others and spots Mario helping their neighbors.

"So there you guys are, I trust everything went well."

He approaches the crowd and looks at a nearby section of vandalized wall. With a gesture and a quick murmur, he attempts to help out as well for a bit.

[Private to GM: 21:19, Today: Nodwin Zideqick rolled 10 using 3d6.  clean (14).]

Re: Below Junior House

"Nodwin, good." He steps to shake his hand and as surreptitiously as possible passes him the bag of coins, he steps in close and speaks softly, "Here's t'e haul from t'e zombies.  Split it among t'e crewe eh?"

Then he steps back, "Just kenned got one last errand.  Not sure if it should wait till morn or be done now.  T'e Sanitation guild should be told about Otty an t'e dead worker down t'ere."

OOC:  Should we warn the Sanitation Guild now or later?  I'm all for it just being "a thing Jareth does off-screen" and not played out.

Hearing the crew outside, Jocelyn rejoins them
But they should be told so there aren't several more workers endangered.
