Jareth seems to recall the beaurocratic offices as being open only until sunset, and that is getting close.

To Jareth, "Yes, they should be informed and warned to be careful."

Turning and smiling to the neighbor, Nodwin bows his head and spreads his hands a bit.

"Greetings and Vejovis' grace upon you. I am known as Nodwin, a dedicated follower of the mighty protector and healer Vejovis.  We are moving into the buildings over there, we hope to clean them up and restore them to pleasant places to live.

If you ever need something, or if there is anything going on in the neighborhood, please let us know."

In reply to Nodwin Zideqick (msg # 605):

"That we will. Does Vejovis have a temple on tne hill?"

"Aye, I'll handle it.  No need everone troop down t'e offices.  Back in t'e shortest."

He gives everyone a short wave and takes his leave.

Jareth returns about fifteen minutes later.

Jocelyn comes back wth a basket of meat filled pastries and a few sweet ones as well. I thought I'd buy supper as I haven't been able to do other things.

Mario leaves off scrubbing and dries his hands to accept a meat pie.

"Thank you, Jocelyn.  Very thoughtful of you."

After finishing the pie, Mario returns to scrubbing while there's still enough light to see what he's doing.

These meat pies are a bit fresher and tastier than the goblin made ones...

OOC: They certainly are.  Especially fresher.

Nodwin spends the time relaxing while talking with the neighbors about where Vejovis' temple is located and the guiding principles of his followers. During the conversation, he will occasionally gesture at another section of wall and clean it.

During the final casting, his main concentration is on the current topic of how helping victims is important to Vejovis and that neighbors helping each other is something that the temple encourages strongly. His attention on the spell slips...

The filth on the wall multiplies, and splatters into Nodwin's face, covering him with mud!

"Woops, looks like this mud fights back.  Need me to get my bow?"  Mario snickers and winks at Nodwin, then goes back to scrubbing.

"Oh my, that was unexpected." Nodwin wipes off his face.

A familiar figure approaches, the star spangled mage with the two toned hair and beard.

"Ooh, Master Nodwin, I hate when that happens. Is master Jareth about?"

Jareth had been lounging in a doorway nearby avoiding getting any of this "work" on himself.  He sits up and waves Ludlow over.

Mario continues scrubbing, but listens as best he can.

Jareth scratches his head, "I'n not one for divinin, but if a friend's in trouble, we should look into it.  Come on inside," he stands and opens the door, "an you tell us everythin you divined."

As he ushers Ludlow in, he waves to Jocelyn, Nodwin, Mario, and Mel to come on in.

"Don't mind if I do."nhe doffs his hat, showing the white roots of his dark hair, and enters Junior house.

Jocelyn immediately follows, holding the door for the next person, so the rest of the crew can enter too.

"Excuse us please, it was nice to meet you all" Nodwin takes their leave of the neighbors, then proceeds inside.

Mario wrings out the rag he'd been using and drapes it over the side of a handy bucket.

"Looks like business I've got to attend."  Lacking anything better, he dries his hands on his shirt tails, collects his bow and staff, and goes inside.
