Re: Below Junior House

Jareth comes out into the common room whistling happily, but terribly and off-tune.  He's got his gear ready to go and is carrying the packs he usually lends to Clarence and Charlene.

He hoists the heavy-fram pack, "Wasn' sure if'n ya needed it Clarence.  But if ya do, still got t'e usual pack here for ya."

If they want to borrow them, Jareth hands them over.

"An Charlene, you in for a share, or just want t'e usual pay rate?"

[Private to Charlene Le Poire; Clarence Montague; Narrator: In the past whenever Jareth hired Clarence and Charlene he always supplied them with day packs of gear for the mission.... most missions being just sewer mapping and vermin clearing.

"Hmm, I have my own gear now, but not opposed to adding too it. But I dont have a crowbar any more. Let me see..."

He picks the food and pot, along with the lantern, out of the larger pack.

Charlene will tack the pack offered.

Re: Below Junior House

Mario slips back in after his quick shopping trip, a new quiver next to the one he had when he joined the group -- and just two arrows in the new one.

"Those silver tips are expensive!  Hopefully, I can manage not to break or lose these.  Never mattered with the regular ones, they vanish after a minute anyway, and the one in the quiver is always good."

OOC: @Clarence Do you mean Charlene Le Poire, who worked for us last time you did, or Charala, the service mage at the Guild who's so good with cleaning?

Re: Below Junior House

Mario watches Brodak handling the heavy crowbar as if it were a toothpick.

"Must be nice to have muscle like that."  He does a quick check-over of his own pack.  "Two sacks, must be left from last time down.  Lots of rations -- enough for a week, if it comes to it."  He sloshes a canteen.  "Full."  A bundle wrapped in a towel, that jingles faintly.  "Yep, personal stuff."  A small, heavy bag that has more of a clatter than jingle.  "Hammer, pitons, links.  Hmmm.  I thought I had a blanket.  Probably won't need one -- it's not that cold down there, and if I have to sleep on stone flooring, cold is the least of my worries."

"For myself, I'd be inclined to leave him right where he is, except for the possibility someone else might find him and let him loose.  I do think he matches the joint of meat that can't be cut, though.

"I wonder if healing him might not bring him back to whatever passed for normal originally?

"Still, your dream put the two together, didn't it?  Ymid and spiders, and the joint of meat.  I think it'd work a lot better to bring the eye guy to the undying, than the other way around."
