Jareth comes out into the common room whistling happily, but terribly and off-tune. He's got his gear ready to go and is carrying the packs he usually lends to Clarence and Charlene.
He hoists the heavy-fram pack,
"Wasn' sure if'n ya needed it Clarence. But if ya do, still got t'e usual pack here for ya."
If they want to borrow them, Jareth hands them over.
"An Charlene, you in for a share, or just want t'e usual pay rate?"
