Yawning, Nodwin adds "I suppose you could say that sermons only work when they come off, kind of.  Or maybe something being cooked, like a pie? Fire works when it comes off of what is burning."

He scratches his head, "Guesses are probably useless, proffecies only make sense in retrospect."

"Heh.  Ta be honest, I wasn't thinkin of t'e 'only works when comes off' bit, but t'e 'uncuttable meat'.  Sounds to me like that guy we found what can't die.  Had some arrows an a spear through him if remember straight."

He scratches his chin.  "Course, that guy can obviously be cut.  But eh.  We ken t'e Ymid went through t'e metal door, so figure go through t'e same door an work our way around bit lookin for him."

"I was thinkin' 'bout it fer my knife, I was, but too damn expensive. A silver tipped arrow cost $40 bucks, but a fine Silver knife was well over $200 bucks, over $300 if it was well made for me."

I'd like to get some more fucking arrows too ... don't think I can afford many many of the damned silver tipped ones.

Perhaps I can buy some silver daggers, if they aren't too expensive ... at least silver tipped or inlaid.

"I think it would probably be a good idea to rest up a bit first. Going down below is dangerous enough without exhaustion making things worse."

Turning to the others, "Unless any of you feel that the need for us to go now is prevalant?"

Jareth shrugs at Nodwin's question, "T'e outer powers don't track temporally like we do, buuuut, t'ey do seem always be chattin up what I'm about to go do for t'e day.  It's... disturbin, but useful."

Re: Below Junior House

"Should have been here a couple hours ago, when there was scrubbing to be done.  Jocelyn brought pies.  Meanwhile, I can lend you a few coppers if you need to go get a bite.

"Otherwise, I'm going back to what passes for a bed. I'll go buy some silver arrows and get some breakfast in the morning, and then I'll be ready to go find the eye guy."

Mario digs in his pouch, pulls out a half dozen copper bits, and hands them to Clarence, then heads back to his pallet.

He thanks Mario, but does not take the offered coppers.

Re: Below Junior House

Mario shrugs.  "Suit yourself.  At least the hot brown is better than nothing.  Watch out for goblin pies, though.  I had a couple of those the night I joined up with this lot, and I was up most of the night in the jakes."

He drops the coppers back in his pouch and goes back to his pallet.

"Hopefully, we're not getting up at the crack of dark."

[Private to GM: I'm showing down 2 FP, probably one from the night of the goblin pies, not really sure of the other.  Hoping to sleep enough to recover both...  ]

After the door closes she produces a bottle of wine from her gear (which she brought along) ... have any glasses? It always tastes better from a glass or cup.

"Or not so much regret, as look forward to sharing."
