Mario uses his bow to measure the frame the grate fits in, pulling an arrow if need be.
"Looks like close to a shaft and a serving wide, and a string plus fletching plus a finger high." He counts softly for a moment, then tosses the arrow up in the air. It clatters to the floor, then vanishes. "Never can get that timing just right. Supposed to be a count of sixty after I draw it from the quiver, but I dare anyone to count at just the right speed."
