Mario slings his staff alongside his pack, flexes his previously injured knee, and touches the fletching of the single arrow in his primary quiver, then that of the two in the new quiver.

"Ready any time."

Mario steps forward for a clear shot, then raises his bow, draws and nocks an arrow, and releases, all in the space of a single breath.

"Don't touch it, unless you have very thick gloves or are immune to poison."

Jareth looks more thoroughly into the catchment corridor.  Specifically to see how the rat got into the gated corridor.

Would the spines be of use to us as weapons? She approaches the creature cautiously to examine it more closely. Then mumbles and makes some movements as if to pull something.

[Private to GM: 11:34, Today: Jocelyn Lemru rolled 11 using 3d6.  Apportation. Made it by 2.  She attempts to pull a single quill out, thinking it might make an interesting addition to winged knife. ]

Re: Below Junior House

"I can't poison my regular arrows.  There's only the one, and there's no way to get to the head while it's still in the quiver.  For the silver ones, I don't know if poison would help for anything that can't be harmed by a regular arrow.

"Not to mention, I have, once or twice, nicked myself with an arrow while loading or firing it -- that's annoying, generally, but I'd rather not have my hand swell up and fall off next time it happens."

He looks at the quill(s) Jocelyn is extracting (magically?).  "How many of those would it take to poison an arrowhead, anyway?"
