Mancini notices Ardenas's headshaking.  "Ardenas, how would you suggest we proceed? I wish to get this mission over with as soon as possible, with the minimal amount of damage to us and to our kobolds and ogres."

"Unless you know something I don't -- a gang war about to break out in Dockside, for instance -- the easiest, quickest, safest way back to DuClaire's house is going to be walking on the surface streets."

You head quickly back to DuClair's place, and are waved tbrough by the guards. You descend to the grate in the floor, which the guards unlock, and drop down into the lower level. One of tbe kobolds takes a ring of keys from the guard, and moves to open a lock.

Apife follows along, chatting with the kobolds to easy their minds about the ogres.

Mancini follows along, as he would be defenseless otherwise.

Ardenas follows Mancini.  "Fergush should be better today."

"You have Fergush'smasher? We have Mannseeknee sword,nice and sharp."

"Yes, I have done as I said and have fixed Fergush's smashy-thingie", Mancini said, motioning for them to present the newly fixed maul to Fergush.  "By the way, we wanted to introduce you to some kobolds who will be working the tunnels for my patron."

Mancini pointed at the small cadre of kobolds amongst the group.  "Kobolds may be yummy in your neck of the woods, but if you harm any of these kobolds, you will be in voilation of our pact and I will personally invite you to a fish dinner.... only you will be the one being eaten."  As he said that, he winked at Aoife.

Aoife smiled innocently...but her eyes were, as ever, full of mischief.

Fergush shudders at the thought and nods.

"No Eat little blue men. Here is sword, and a Bonus stone."
He smiles as he says the last part, and passes over Mancini's Rapier.  He examines the maul, and gives it a practice swing. "Not Bad."

The sword feels a little different.. make a connoisseur: melee weapons roll.
