She tries to sneak up but is not as quiet as she should be

Iskander recognized Ales and heard the tail-end of his ruse, as he rapidly fled the scene.

Iskander prepared a quantity of rags, straw, dry dirt, and a full skin of water, with which to prepare mud, to block up the flues, on the roof!  Carring all this in a sturdy, burlap sack, he heads toward the shadows....23:12, Today: Iskander rolled 12 using 3d6 ((3,3,6)).
Hiding in the shadows, Iskander swiftly climbs upon the roof. 23:13, Today: Iskander rolled 13 using 3d6 ((2,5,6)).

The restaurant is at a three way intersection and only one of those counts as an alleyway. It is crowded with fish stalls and Sahudese specialty shops. Accross the wider street is the haunted house.
