Sensing the subtle ripple of mana, Iskander look towards Ales, and watched quietly.

"I suggest we go on a bit of an outing, anyway. It's a beautiful day, we may as well enjoy this weather and take in some of the sights and sounds of this fine city. I'm pretty sure I know a few places that would be worth checking out.

On my way back into town, I stumbled across a newer restaurant offering Sahudese food, it may be worth checking out."

Chye is immediately interested.
"Chye need to secure some armor for my arms, and then Chye keen on this new joint."
Chye flexed a burly, tattooed bicep, depicting stylized waves, mountains, clouds, and eagles culminating in a dragon which wraps around his thick forearm.

Tanaka bends down and reties his boots, stuffing the laces in the top.
"I reckon I'll lead the way then. I'm afraid my Araliase is not the best,
so if we are to deal with natives, one of you will have to handle that aspect of this outing. Would any of you like to join as well?"
After giving the others the chance to join, he sets off down the hallways and eventually out the gate, leading them to the Sahud restaurant he was speaking about earlier.

"I'll come along, Senyors. Perhaps my mercantile expertise can be of service."

"I will go with you. I speak Araliase well and they know me around at some places." she says with a bow. She will disappear for a minute and return with a cloak on.

"I will join you as well, if you wish.  My Aralaise is at least as good as my Sahudese.  I also speak good Shevnian, in case we need to deal with orckind or humans from that realm."

There is a small ramen joint that opened up out of little Sahud, over in the orcish part of Redlight that has been gathering attention lately, particularly as the bakemono have become enthusiastic customers...

"I would be interested in whether that house seasons their noodles for bakemono differently from more traditional Sahudese noodle shops.  Normally, I'd expect the green folk to eat fare more like Shevnian food: cabbage, dairy, bread, and sausage."

"Or maybe they just can't get enough of our cooking. Can't say Chye blame them, and Chye speaking from experience, of course. One day, we'll have to all go hunting, or fishing, and Chye shall prepare a marvelous feast. All we need is a wizard friend who can turn water to wine! Ho Ho Ho!"

Not sure what to make of Tanaka, Ales decides to go along with the group. He had been hearing about this bakemono and was curious to try it,and besides, how would he forgive himself if his group got jumped or worst traveling to the restaurant? Ales let out a sigh and asked if he could tag along.

"So, is that all you think us Shevnians eat? Remind me to cook you a true Shevnian feast one day," Ales said to Chou in perfect Shevnian.

Then, turning to Chye, "I bet Sakemokosan probably has the spell hidden away in one of the books in the library", Ales joked in his accented Sahudese.

"Please join us Ales, who knows what we might encounter" she says with a smile.

"We meet here then, later? Chye have some armor to procure, and then we meet for lunch?"

"I think it would be best if we stick together, honestly Chye. We can go grab a quick bite to eat and then go shopping, if everyone is ok with that. I have a feeling our group is going to attract a lot of attention, best if we're together in case anything happens."
Tanaka continues walking at a slower pace, waiting for the groups input on his suggestion.

Surprisingly, Chye says: "We just eat! You're all sounding as bad as Chye!"
He waits a moment to let it sink in, before chuckling.

"I breakfasted only lightly, and have walked to the Guild hall and back since then.  By the time we can reach this new noodle shop in the Red Light, I will be hungry enough again, I am sure."  Chou-Zhen's Sahudese is also accented, a very different accent from either Iskander's or Ales's.

"It is always good to walk and dine together, in any case.

"You are a poet, Tanaka?  I wish I could read your work.  Sadly, I read only Aralaise and Shevnian; my mother did not intend to teach me Sahudese, so I learned it relatively late and never learned to read it."

He looks around at the others, checking to see if they're listening and clears his throat.
"Leaves and trees both fall. Life can end without goodbyes. Don't regret small things. I wrote that on my journey back here from Shibuya. This one is far older, though. It's actually one I wrote very early in my career. Rain and snow excite, I enjoy your moodiness, goddess of nature."
As they round a corner passing a group of orcs, he spots the noodle house and points. His mouth water at the smell of the Sahudese food.

She looks at Tanaka "Now if you played music, I could dance to it. I can do other entertaining things too" she says with a smile.

"Mayhaps afterwards, we can find some music and drink at a tavern. It's only fair, after all, that you get to show off your craft since I have shared mine. I would.love to see it, honestly. The grace of your people has always amazed me."
As Tanaka reaches the door, he pulls it open and allows the others to enter, heading in behind them and wait to be seated.

As he walked with the group, he listened to the conversation with interest.  "Tanaka, I spend a lot of my time in Sakemokosan's libraries when not assisting the group in our patron's wishes researching various esoteric lore and generally trying to understand this strange (at least to me) Sahudese culture.  Yet, forgive me for any offense, I have come across any of your works in the Library.  Or, to be fair, I don't remember coming across your name.  Does not Sakemoko collect your works?"

Chye surveys the building, and the surroundings. He was a bit curious to see if they were Sahudese owners, or if the place was also run by bakemono. The redlight could be a tough place, especially for a minority.
He followed the others inside..

Looks at Ales from the corner of his eye, irritation with the man apparent. He had noticed him giving him sidelong glances all morning.
"I have literally penned one collection of poetry, for my old master.  Mayhaps Sakemoko-sama has the copy I brought with me in his personal library. I have just crested 30 summers, and I'm afraid my foray into poetry didn't start until two years ago. Creating worthy poetry for a Lord is a time consuming affair, I'm afraid."
As they take seats at the table the hostess leads them to, he takes special care to sit directly across from Ales and locks eyes with him.
"Do you have a problem with me, Ales? I've noticed your sidelong glances all morning, and to be quite honest, I grow tired of them. I understand that I've arrived at a rather suspect time, with the raid of Akira no Kumo, but I assure you, I am not your enemy, Ales. If anything, Ales, you are the stranger in Sakemoko-sama's court. You would also do well to address our master with the proper honorific, gaijin, it's Sakemoko-SAMA."
He puts extra emphasis on the word 'sama', smirking and sitting back in his chair.

Chye had been following the exchange between Tanaka and Ales, amusedly.
"Yes! Omo-sama, Ales-san. Especially in his presence. But then, the gaijin aren't held to the standards we sons of Sahud are...hahaha." Chye grinned good-naturedly.
