Addressing the waiter, Chou-Zhen speaks in Sahudese, flipping his lightning whip for emphasis.

"You're a clever one.  Clever enough that you should help to quietly clear the patrons from this room before anyone else gets hurt."

There are still: Bresnark, his creation, the waiter, about 8 customers still on this level, and about fifteen upstairs looking down.

Chou-Zhen ignores the rest of the scrum in the dining room and continues toward the casino entrance.  Over his shoulder, he says in Shevnian, "Come along, pestilence spirit.  We have other business."

Ales, acting as if Chou had hypnotized him, follows him as if an obedient puppy.

In reply to Ales Konstantin (msg # 287):

As the "pestilence spirit" drifts toward the stairs, the waiter glares down at the scattered seeds and frowns. "Why you not bound by seeds? Spirits all must count. It is known"

Chou-Zhen speaks over his shoulder in Sahudese.  "Perhaps this isn't an ordinary spirit."  He then beckons to the "spirit" and continues following Jin toward the casino entrance.

OOC: Chou-Zhen had Extinguished Bresnark, and that Shevnian had snapped out of his stun (and seemed to acknowledge Chou-Zhen's act), up in mgs. 272-273.

You make your way to the second floor, where four guards spull out of the door to the stairs to the casino!

Chou-Zhen closes with the nearest guard and lashes with his lightning whip, but misses.

"Maleït tot!"[Private to GM: "Damn everything!"] Iskander curses quietly through grit teeth, as he hoped things would not turn out so... Staying hidden, he watches what the others are doing, in his group, on the upper floor.

Chye puts his bow away, and grunts with distaste at the thought of attacking the guards, who most likely think they are repelling an evil force. Seeing Chou attack them, he nonchalantly goes round the opposite side of the upper balcony, from where the melee is taking place, where he might make a sudden, and unexpected flank attack... if needed.

Ales, unable to break the disguise without alerting the guests of his ruse, whispers to Chou: "I need a distraction to break my illusion. Then, I can help you guys fend off these guards."

"We're past the dining room, I'm not sure it matters."

Ales reaches into his backpack and grabs one of the nagapetto.

Jin nonchalantly pulls his tetsubo out of the rug he is carrying and tosses the carpet over the balcony  onto the dining
area, scattering the sesame seeds.
"Best you drop your weapons."

Jin swats away the first of the four guardsmen, who starts coughing bright
 blood despite his armor.  He glares at the second, and the man tosses his Naginata to the side.

Chou-Zhen grins unpleasantly at the remaining guards as he twitches his lightning whip.  "Take your pick, men.  We're going through, one way or another."

In reply to Chou-Zhen Mou (msg # 302):

"Pestilence spirit no enter! Ghost get out!"

Chye advances, carefully.

"That is no pestilence spirit.  I merely shouted that to help clear the dining room.  In fact, it's a man under an illusion.  Now, let us pass, or suffer."

In reply to Chou-Zhen Mou (msg # 305):

One of the men tosses aside his weapon and steps away. One looks uncertain, as if ge feared somerhing more than Jin, and the other points at Ales. You can see ge has an amulet around his neck, and bits of red silk tied to his gear. His eyes are wide.
"Not man with illusion of pestilence spirit! Spirit with sometime seeming of a man! Foul thing, you cannot pass!"

Ales tosses the nagapetto at the guard who has the amulet.   "Stupid idiot", Ales says in Sahudese.
