Turning to Chye and Number Three, and speaking softly: "I think we've done about all we can; things will continue to be confused for a time, with all the mopping, sorting out the betting chits, and dealing with the remaining brawlers.  Perhaps we should take our leave."

Chye nods. "Chye agree. Should leave soon... not want to be colored an instigator here."

"It appears Ales has something to finish up.  Let us go, then."

Chou-Zhen begins working his way toward the front door, assessing the state of the room and patrons as well as he can along the way.

In reply to Chou-Zhen Mou (msg # 160):

Ales has made his way upstairs to a door that is either a washroom or the back stairs. He is not sure as he cannot read the Sahudese script written on the door.

Ales opens the door and goes in, hoping he has found the back stairway.

In reply to Ales Konstantin (msg # 162):

Ales pushes the door open, and finds himself in a washroom, with towel bearing attendant.

00:36, Today: Chye Isuel rolled 6 using 3d6.  perception - 12.
Chye keeps vigilant, watching for anything interesting or dangerous nearby.

Ales goes to an empty stall and relieves himself.  When he is finished, he washes his hands and asks the attendant for a towel.

In reply to Ales Konstantin (msg # 165):

After cleaning up, the attendant looks pointedly at a jar of coins next to him.

Ales throws in a generous tip (equivalent to $5) and thanks the attendant in Sahudese.

"Say, is there any place nearby for those who would like to make some extra coin quickly?"

In reply to Ales Konstantin (msg # 168):

The man gestures out the door and toward your left.

Ales heads out the door and goes to the left.

Chou-Zhen stops in the street just outside the Silver Jade Palace to count heads -- he saw Ales take off further in, so checking for Jin, Chye Isuel, and Number Three Son.

Chye nodded at Chou from underneath the Silver Jade Palace's overhang, where he stood on the porch.

"Let us hope our friends have had a good evening.  I must say, I enjoyed that spicy fish dish, though the peppered ale was not a favorite for me.  Perhaps it is an acquired taste.  Too bad there was such a problem with the slippery floor."  Chou-Zhen suppresses a smile.

"Perhaps we should return to the palace now, and wait for the others to bring back whatever they have learned."

"Pepper ale better with salty snacks. Salted apricots and plums, pickled eggs, and with spicy foods, greasy duck, pork, and sausage." Chye replied, with epicurean wisdom.
"Chye knew, buying a gallon jug, would come in handy."

Chou-Zhen leans close to Number Three Son, so as to whisper.

"I have no doubt that many will demand replacements for food and drink they were unable to consume; and there was some breakage of crockery.  Staff were occupied futilely mopping with vinegar, attempting to correct the slippery floor.  That, and the brawl, resulted in a period when no food or drink was ordered or served, which will result in reduced income for the day.  It is hard to picture doing more financial damage without doing harm to the community.

"Moreover, that was not our primary mission for this visit -- we were to provide a diversion to allow others to enter by stealth and gain information we may use in the future, to do Akira Aku No much greater financial harm with far less risk to the community than a large disturbance here would bring."

"Are you stealthy, Numbah Tree Son? We go try rob place. Chye handle locks, easy. Traps with less ability. We have Ales use his illusions to disrupt a game. anything concerning the money, will cause a choas and a frenzy to grab it. We use this in our next ruse, perhaps? Or Chou, use his apporation, to disrupt the tiles, and dice rolls... Hohoho"
