Chou-Zhen approaches the now-open doors, seeking a target for the lightning in his hand.

Four more guards in varying states of readiness are just past the doors: two are unready, and are trying to change their grips. Two drop into thrusting/defending position.

Iskander steps to the right flank, both weapons ready, to allow a change in tactical formation, for the imminent battle.

Chye moves up the ranks with Jin, naginata readied, in his sword technique stance.

Chou-Zhen stops, raises his left hand with its ball of crackling energy, and stares at the ready guard on his left, taking aim.

Chye speaks in sahudese:

Two turn and look at eachother, and one immediately steps to the side.
A third seems to contemplate this as well, but the fourth hardens his grip,
"I have sworn an oath to serve, whether or not my master is honorable, I  will be faithful to my name, my word, and my lineage. Now step back!"

Chou-Zhen changes his aim to the determined guard.  "Last chance to run."

The big Yak rushes forward and jabs the man with his Tetsubo, knocking him onto the ground.

Chye runs the stubborn guard through, ending him rightly.

Iskander turns to the other guards,speaking in sahudese:
"Come. Let's get this job done, so we may all get your countrymen taken care of, for their trip home for burial. We'll then meet Sakemoko-sama, for your new employment."
He hands each of the 3 men, a silver coin and five copper coins ($25). "A token of our new alliance.. Any displays of valor will be reported favorably, when we get back to the palace!" (subtracted $75 from my own pocket)

Still holding the lightning in his left hand, Chou-Zhen looks around for additional hostiles.

The woman in the cage starts pulling down wooden shutters. The men at the tables back away, although one croupier raises his rake defensively.
The bartenderducks below the bar. In the distance, you hear a bell ringing.

Iskander speaks to the guards:
"tell us of the dragon men... I saw them when I was scouting earlier."

Chye looks at Jin and speaks:
"Jin-san, let's get to work on the cage, yes? You smash through anything in your way, real good!"

Ales looks at the man who holds the rake.  "Do you really think that can stop us?  Or are you just trying to be barbecued?"

Ales begins to chant and make the hand gestures for a fireball.

Chye throws Ales a disapproving look, when he sees what he has prepared

Chou-Zhen, lightning still crackling in his left hand, scans the room for the reported dragon-kin guards, as well as other threats.  The croupier he has already discounted.

OOC: so what's going on with these 3 guards with us? are they loyal, or what? xD

Chou-Zhen begins to aim at the first dragon man to appear as soon as he is visible, aiming for up to three seconds if the dragon man doesn't begin to close -- then releases the lightning he's been carrying.  He immediately begins to cast again.

[Private to GM: 18:07, Today: Chou-Zhen Mou rolled 14 using 3d6.  Lightning, roll to hit (11 +3 acc, +2 aiming, - range unknown).  hits if range penalty is -2 or lower.

Chye will support Jin, and fight by his side.
