The ruins of the booth the chained woman was in have stacks of rice paper chits and colorful painted ceramic tiles but no coin or strings of cash.

"There is no money here. Let's get beyond those doors. I saw them wheel a box there, during my scouting, earlier."

Chye heads for the double doors and tries to open them carefully. If they don't give way, he'll begin trying keys from the ring.

The doors are currently unbarred, Chye can hear a faint tinkling sound as he tries to open them.

Chou-Zhen continues searching the fallen dragon man whose head is intact, hoping to find potion bottles, but ignoring coin and other gewgaws.

"The doors are open, but belled... let's burst in!" Chye waves over the strong, to join him in exploring what lies beyond.

Ales holds his hands up in an attempt to stop Chye.

"As I learned from a previous adventure, that would be unwise.  Perhaps if Iskander or  stealthy Airis could try to disarm the bells before proceding, we could sneak up on them unawares.  I would rather fight fewer than more of these people, if we can help it."

"Our mission here was to make things costly for Akira Kumo No, in a way he would identify as due to our daimyo.  If we take the coin box and leave now, we have accomplished this, with minimal harm to the community.

"I am near exhaustion, and badly burned by the dragon man's breath.  Iskander is wounded.  We should retreat now, our mission completed, rather than risk undoing what we have accomplished."

Chye smirks. "We already create such a ruckus, what bells do? Ha ha ha! Chye get rid of nasty bells..."

With a shake of his head, Chou-Zhen opens and swallows a vial of paut.  "If you must, though I see little to gain by it."

"Indeed we must, Senyor. Therein lies our money and our mission."
Iskander heads over to the double doors.

Chye grins broadly, showing gold and turns, pushing the doors open with his boot, weapon ready.

Chou-Zhen gestures, calling the lightning whip back into his hand, then follows Chye and Iskander.

Ales, statisfied that the group did not just rush into the next room, readies his scimitar and follows the group into the next room.

Chye having levereged the bells into silence with the edge of his weapon inserted through the barely open doors, is able to stifle them as he opens the door wide for the others. A stone walled corridor carries on past, with a doorway to the left halfway down the hall, and then turns to the right out of sight.

Iskander heads down the corridor, and checks out the door on the left for any traps.

"I agree with Iskander on this. Those people who died because of Akira's 'fun and games' deserve a decent burial, on his dime of course.  If our patron causes a little embarrassment along the way, so much the better."

Ales paused for a second before continuing.  "We should not rush blindly into this area, however.  We ought to take our time exploring, as Akira and Company could have placed a number of traps to keep outsiders from discovering where they keep the money before transferring it to Akiri himself."
