Ales has a throbbing ball of flame in his hand... in an enclosed wooden room.

Airis has just pulled a flask of oil from a pocket- can ignite or pour over the demon; the flask has a pull string that will ignite a match on a two second fuse.

Airis will ignite the flask and throw it when she can.

Chye,watching what has been going on, realizes the intent, and will attempt to spring and roll out of the way.

Seeing Airis's flask and realizing the potential consequences if he threw the fireball, he squashed the flame he had in his hand.

"Nothing but a distraction for our pet demon, Chou.  Perhaps I will teach it to you one day..."

"Airis!  Only if you can keep all the oil on top of the iron box!"  He turns his head toward the door.

"Iskander comes -- perhaps he has the red silk."  He lashes once more with his lightning whip.

The large chest is chained 5o the floor with two chains.

Coins and small sacks are scattered about.

The silk wrapped corpse writhes.

The eyeless head  gapes and its flesh withers to the bone.

Iskander seeks to wrap the demon's skull in the red silk, into a neat bundle, and stow it in his pack. "This no doubt has great magical value... pity there is no more silk."

Chye attempts to use the keys to remove the chains from the chest, but is surprised to see that they are bolted in place. The keys do not oen the chest.
