Chye readies his weapon, and gives the door a shove inward, with his boot.

Iskander readies his weapons, and shoves the other door inwards, likewise.

"Let us just get out of here. We did what we needed to do and I don't want more enemies to get here" she was more mission minded then some of her associates.

Ales holds his scimitar at the ready.

Through the red lacquered door appears to be the quarters of the naginata wieldders and the dragonmen. There are a number of rolled up mats, some decoratve lacquerred tables, assorted articled of clothing, and a low table with a stack of cups and a few flagons. Small bags are on the hooks hanging on the wall, and  a raised dias with a divan looks to be where their lord is recieved.

A pair of doors, on ordainary and one lacquerred and barred are on the rear wall.

Chou-Zhen steps up just outside the door (still in the hallway with the starlings).

"I see there are no great chests of treasure or heavy hanging strings of cash, but I see there is likely much more trouble beyond here.  Will you now leave this place, with our mission completed?"

"To Chye, the lives and freedom of those who may be kept prisoner here, are worth far more than any money we could carry out of this place. There must be a slave quarters or holding cells, beyond here. We are nearly through."
Gone was Chye's flippant demeanor, from moments ago , and he spoke earnestly.

In reply to Chye Isuel (msg # 714):

"Count the Mats. There were six guards, four women chained,two jailor Shen. I think the demoness did not rest."

Iskander nodded at Jin's suggestion, and began counting the mats.

Chye unbars the other laquered door..

The door also has a lock... that looks like it fits the red door.

There are 10 mats.

Ales listens as the others talk.  He nods when Chye talks about freeing the slaves and others being held captive.

Chou-Zhen's queue quiets.

"Much as I would see us done here, I agree that our honor and that of our Omo demands this."  He turns back toward the darkness.

"Airis, there is one more task here.  Please shield yourself from the starlings and join us as we check for more captives to be freed."

After Chye removes the bar, he unlocks the door using the key, and opens it...

She will do as Chou-Zhen says and quickly go though the startling's, using her cloak to shield herself.

Iskander tried the plain door...

Beyond the plain door is a narrow hall. At one end, a privy. At the other a large soaking tub. Towlels hang from wooden pegs and several buckets are beside it.

Beyond the red door is a moderate sized room with two mars, a pair of armor racks (empty) and a table with a weapon cleaning kit, an incense burner made of brass, and a jug. A pair of small  lacquered boxes are also present. There is another barred and locked door with a bell on it.

A decirative wall scroll is brush painted with scenes of a mountain with a flying dragon.

"Okay, no prisoners. Let's quickly loot what we can, and leave! There might be many valuable things here, from what amounts to their personal belongings!"
Chye loves dragon motif, and begins to remove and carefully roll up the scroll, because he aims to keep it.
"うわー！これは素晴らしい！

Iskander moves over to the laquered boxes, and examines them, opening them to see what they contain.

Ales examines the brass incense burner and the other items on the table, hoping to find something of value.

Chye rolls up the scroll carefully and places it in his pack, which is empty, except for his hammock. Chye then turns his attention to the remaining door..."Another locked door. Chye not like locked doors, when he not on side, he wanna be!" He tries the keys that opened the prior entry, on this lock.

Chou-Zhen's queue lashes again.

"Will you continue until you find Akira Kumo No himself beyond the next door?  You have assured yourself there are no more slaves here.  You have looted the personal treasures of the dragon men and guards.  The bell above the door will sound if the door is opened from the other side.  Can we not return now to our Daimyo and report our mission's success?"

"There's something worth checking, beyond a locked and alarmed door. There may be healing potions and such in here. there looked like bags hanging on hooks in their main quarters. why not look for something to treat yourself, while we finish our raid?"

His face unreadable, but surely not his usual expression, queue still lashing, Chou-Zhen steps into the room to check the hanging bags and lacquer boxes.

Airis continues to move around, guarding Chou-Zhen and making sure no enemy appears.
