Chou-Zhen then bows deeply to Sakemoko.

"I also wish to offer my deepest thanks to you, oh great one.  This armor, your gift to me, surely saved my life when one of the dragon men breathed flame at me after his partner was incapacitated.  I fear the lacquer work will need retouching, yet still I prize it, and would as gladly wear it with the marks of its effectiveness, if that must be the case."

Chye bowed

"We must also give full credit to Jin-san, whose strength and mighty tetsubo cleared the way at times.  None other of us could have carried that chest alone, as he did."

"Indeed. Who else could've heaved it into those guards like that?"
Iskander noted the bloodied chest.

Iskander turns the key he left in the chest, and opens the box.
"Behold, we sacked the counting room! They had another chest, but this was warded with a puzzle lock, and so we took what was counted, and placed everything in this wheeled chest, to take back with us, Lord."

"I wished we could have taken it personally. Who knows what could have been in it? Business plans, proof of crimes committed?'

In reply to Iskander (msg # 892):

"I see that you have two keys there, doubtless one opened the puzzle chest. I have heard of that item, obtaining it would be a great blow to him, but more so if the secret of opening it was known. Let us see what is within."

He reaches into the chest, withdrawing dozens of silk bags bearing strings of cash.

"Take this coin, and share it amongst you. The chest is an adequate trophy for my needs.



Cash: 36 strings of cash, each worth $80 and in silk pouches worth $14 each.

"Domo arigato, Sakemoko-sama!"
Chye, who has removed his jingasa, prostrates himself upon his knees.

"Thank you.  Nothing would give me more pleasure than to spend Akira's money."

Airis will bow deeply to Sakemoko "Thank you great Lord"

"My thanks once again, Daimyo.  With your permission, I would now seek your healer to tend my burns."

Chou-Zhen withdraws to his assigned room, sending a servant to request the healer attend when available.  He removes his armor, and leaves it to be cleaned and repaired.

Then he lies down to rest while awaiting the healer.

Iskander reveals his wounds and sheared mail shirt, where he was badly stabbed by an ashigaru. "I was also injured, My Lord. May I also receive the same?"

The healer (also the tortuer...)attends your wounds with some vigor, head each of you 2 points, and leaving you with some restorative broth (equal to a 1d potion of healing).

As a subcontractor, no offer is made to Iskander to repair his armor.

OOC well the mail shouldn't be too hard to repair... a few rings probably sheared through, shouldn't be too bad...
After some healing, Iskander would seek to repair and mend his jacket and mail, and clean the blood off, and get a hot bath.

Chye would've been completely unscathed, were it not for him pulling the waiter out of the spark field. He got a nasty 2 pt jolt, but nothing some Sahudese medicine won't cure.
