A matter of concern for the Hadereum

In reply to Goran the Marked (msg # 490):

The weapon is a blunt tipped bloadsword, miraculously free of rust, although the leather wrapping of the handle could be replaced. The runes say "krvotok" which means bloodletter.

[Private to Narrator: krvotok is both penetrating and pussiant, and fine.
(DR/2, +2 damage) It is worth $12000, or is saleable for $4800

Goran gingerly hands the blade to Urrun. "If its inscription is to be believed it Lets Blood. But magical blades of any kind are useful against magically protected undead, so it is good we have someone who can wield it."

There are no other weapons in the pen where the undead slorn was killed.
The door at the end remains unopened.

Hograth will check the other slorn and their pens for any valuables before opening anything. How many unopened entrances are there?

In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 497):

There are two pens with dead slorn, and a small door at the end of the long room. You cannot see much in the pens with the dead slorns, excepting for the clutch of eggs.

In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 499):

After some work gutting the slorn, (This leaves you spattered with gore and very fragrant), you find some partially digested human remains, including a curved silver knife blade a handful of coin, and a smakk ri g of keys.

In another, you find the remains of several rats, and a foot and a span long tapered rod of what seems to be carved ivory.

You have four eggs, about 10lbs each.

In reply to Urrun (msg # 510):

You rip the door open, which conveniently is not barred, and reveal a dormitory. Several fishy smelling sepia robes hang beside the empty bedrolls. A large table is at one end of the room, abd there are two more doors at the far end. There look to be about twenty ratty bedrolls.

Hograth, having readied his crossbow, frowns at what he sees.

"Urrun, do you want to quickly search through them while I cover the door, then, when you are satisfied there is noting of value in the room, you can open the door?"

Re: A matter of concern for the Hadereum

Urrun moves to listen at the far doors and sniff as well, then, if nothing alerts him, he methodically goes through the bed rolls and anything else that might hold something... he checks under mattresses as well.

Re: A matter of concern for the Hadereum

In reply to Urrun (msg # 514):

The table has about a dozen poorly washed bowls that have not had food, presumably a stew containing root vegetables, oions, and salt pork, in about a week.

The bedrolls contain little, but Urrun does find a small wooden cross on a broken thong. It seems ill made, as though it could come apart easily.
