The Dismal Tower

Nodding and listening to the woman Haveron was intrigued by the stories.

So it could possibly be seen from the coast.... A ship following the coast might be the better way to find such a tower.

Affecting wizards mostly, and over two hundred years.

Already with willing to buy some of its secrets.

Haveron let the thoughts coalese in his mind and wondered how they might best tackle it. Would the magic users have a harder time detecting the tower, or would they even see it at all?

Was it a reclusive wizard or a chained demon in the location? There was enough interest generated that Haveron thought the plan might be rewarding.

It was interesting.

"Thank you for your words, lady sage. We will bring back whatever we can learn from the tower, should we find it he said, addressing her interest in the tablets in an indirect manner.

With the time passed, and the consultatin over Haveron moved to gather the rest of the group and direct them to their immediate need, which was caravan money. The notion of finding a tower with treasures and things that hailed from beyond even the mortal coil had titilated him enough to cause his grim expression to return at the thought of being nothing more than a glorified guard to some shark-like merchant. It left a sour taste in his mouth, but needs must, he thought with a  weighted feeling in his gut.

He nodded at Sorcha "Yes, I suppose two of them must be false. Short of going there and looking inside i'm not sure what preparations we could make to deal with any of thos stories.

It's lucky we have many magic wielders with us

The Dismal Tower

Haveron set off to walking to the caravan area while the others discussed their strategies for dealing with any of the challenges they might meet on the way.

Well, even if we don't know exactly what to exepct it seems the group has tools to deal with many different eventualities, even if not in an optimal way.

Knowledge of such things, weapons and magics to deal with these will be a great benefit to the whole of us, and ensure that we are most likely successful.

I dare say that cutting the heart out of a demon, or dealing with such things would be difficult so let us hope for something a little easier protecting something equally rewarding.

he said setting a rather quick pace. He glanced around at the group and pushed his hair back, out of his eyes and then locked them on Sorscha.

You fought demons before? he said with an underlying tone suggesting he was impressed.

Shroud had been waiting for the group outside the tower, Gathering the information was not something he is good at. Once they left he followed suit.

"Ok, Demons...Yeah my plan to fight them will be to run away. I have not talent for magic and most of my jobs here were of the more 'Mundane' kind, but I am still in since I have a decent eye for trouble and getting into place, plus I can map the place out if provided the material. I ran out a while back..."
