The Dismal Tower
Nodding and listening to the woman Haveron was intrigued by the stories.
So it could possibly be seen from the coast.... A ship following the coast might be the better way to find such a tower.
Affecting wizards mostly, and over two hundred years.
Already with willing to buy some of its secrets.
Haveron let the thoughts coalese in his mind and wondered how they might best tackle it. Would the magic users have a harder time detecting the tower, or would they even see it at all?
Was it a reclusive wizard or a chained demon in the location? There was enough interest generated that Haveron thought the plan might be rewarding.
It was interesting.
"Thank you for your words, lady sage. We will bring back whatever we can learn from the tower, should we find it he said, addressing her interest in the tablets in an indirect manner.
With the time passed, and the consultatin over Haveron moved to gather the rest of the group and direct them to their immediate need, which was caravan money. The notion of finding a tower with treasures and things that hailed from beyond even the mortal coil had titilated him enough to cause his grim expression to return at the thought of being nothing more than a glorified guard to some shark-like merchant. It left a sour taste in his mouth, but needs must, he thought with a weighted feeling in his gut.
