Caravan to Al Menir

Berry will place herself near the middle of the caravan. She doesn't really bother inspecting it. She mostly hopes they brought enough food. She's gonna be annoyed if she needs to conjure up food for the caravan.

Sorsha will stay close to the front if only so she doesn't have to suck in all the dust the caravan stirs up. Plus she likes to know what is going on.

Gorgath had little to gather and had arrived early to the caravan.

The ogre walked near the front of the caravan to deter any would-be problems with the mythic Doomrazor being used as a makeshift walking stick.

He spotted the small form of Sorsha and gave the elf a nod.

Haveron mostly meandered between front and back, just casually making conversation with people in the caravan, and the group they had formed.

He'd be very interested in what their aspirations are.

The caravan makes its way out of the city gate, and turns west, following  the city wall for a time before entering the foothills.

Well, at least the view is nice... Haveron said as he strolled with heavy footfalls on the road. After making initial efforts to talk with people the man had retreated into his own thoughts and slowed his pace until he was slugging along in the rear.

Haveron gets a good idea about who is likely to be a straggler in need of eatching. He also notices that only about a third of the workers are wearing livery, and these include the headman, his master of arms, quartermaster, chief teamster, head cook, and some of tje laborers.

Gareth will be enjoying the view.

[Private to GM: Actually, he will be looking out for anything familiar in the general surrounds of Northport, as well as watching carefully how individuals react to each other withing the caravan, noting those in livery and how they treat those not in livery, etc.]

Those wishing to gather intel on the caravan need to make Observation rolls, or per-5, with bonuses for extra time; you will have had 4 hours to watch interactions before the first stop for a break.

In reply to Adept Yisslitheniss (msg # 115):

How long should we assume a normal observation roll would take? 5 minutes?

Under that assumption, 4x60=240 minutes would be 48x normal time, or +5 to Observation, or Per.

Not that it helps Gareth, who is so busy looking around he bumps into one of the wagons when is slows for a hill, much to the amusement of the others.

[Private to GM: Of course, Gareth rolled terribly, 1 over perception...]
