Re: Caravan to Al Menir
Haveron's face changed in an instant. From earnest concern to something that perhaps suited more the face of an actor on a stage representing the world's greatest rendition of offence. It was true though, genuine in fact, that Haveron was shocked at the berating from the master at arms.
In an instant his face changed to anger and his back straightened, chin dropped and shoulders retracted as he began "Now you see here, master at arms, I bring to you a question in good faith and with good intentions. Me and my men, including the fire starter, are here to ensure your protection and so I will be so bold as to suggest that you listen carefully to our words and requests for they are to the benefit of us all. he took a breath and felt the red-flush in his face.
[Private to GM: ok, i'm not sure exactly what the roll is here and he's no tlooking to start a fight but his noble upbringing has caused this issue whereby someone talking to him with such contempt (especially when he's trying to help) is so affronting that his instant response is anger.
Either way, whatever he said is perhaps appealing to the man's good sense?
