In reply to Adept Yisslitheniss (msg # 574):

The adept finds the camp in some disarray, as it had been in the process of settling in, , and tthe laborers in a state of retreat from the cloud. None had breathed in in, and are all at risk for being overrun by the advancing bandits.

The knife wielder turns and runs,  just barely avoiding tripping.

Gareth can see the spellcaster beating out the flames.

Gorgath can see the charging crowd of bandits below him, in addition to the nearby fleeing charred archers.

Haveron shrugged in a sigh "Bloody cowards... he said with obvious derision in his voice.

Glancing about where his comrade had turned Haveron glanced over to look at what was going on and where the Ogre was going.

"Well, this changes things, I suppose he said wryly.

Haveron, will glance around and survey the current field - to see exactly what's getting on.

(Can i get an overview summary of what's going on)

If bandits are charging, Haveron will then take off after them

In reply to Berry (msg # 581):

Seven bandits fall to Sorsha's lightning bomb; three are not moving, four are twitching, abd an 8th on the periphery of the blast shrieks and charges, his hair stabdig on end.

Berry dodges behind a wagon.

Gorgath is two seconds away from striking.

Haveron is three seconds out.

The knife wielder siezes the opportunity to run, as do the other charred archers.

Gareth can see the bandit spellcaster beginning a spell if some kind.

About a dozen and a half of the bandits are on their feet, and haven't yet reacted to your response.

Soraha is feeling a little fatigued.

Re: Caravan to Al Menir

Haveron continued to run, frustrated that the knife-man had retreated. As he ran he drew the sword, and prepared to step in. Considering the Ogre, he figured that there may be an aggressive first encounter and so he opted to defend the hulking beast and himself

He will go in 'all out defending' both himself and Gorgath. He is behind ghe Ogre so it make ssense.
If that isn't allowed he will 'wait' until someone threatens to attack Gorgath and intercept the attack with a stop hit or something.

I guess the 'rule' for this is 'interposing a weapon' written up by Kromm.

Three of the charging brigands find themselves in range of the Doomrazor, two veer off to the side, leaving one dead center to Gorgath, although he could still take all three with a rapid strike.

Haveron is one second from engaging a spearman, and Sorsha is 4 seconds out.

Gareth is passing 1/2 damage range into full damage; the mage has finished his spell, and there is a rumbling from above!

Haveron, jumped to the side, quickstepped forward and into range, being sure to angle his blade for the incoming strike and then spun into a full swinging arc. Silver flashed across the sky as his sword aimed true.

The quick step and spin was aimed at throwing off the timing of the enemy, and as he turned into the swing he felt his years of perfection pass down his arms and right into the tip. A warrior had a sense of these things, the precise location of the tip, edge and weight and Haveron knew in that moment that the man had no chance.

He hoped Amelia saw, with a crooked grin.

[Private to GM: Well, his feint was a 'pass by 16'... and then a hit to the neck of the spear man]
Ultimately, I didn't roll damage -- it'll be something vaguely catastrophic for the man.

The bolt catches an unsuspecting bandit squarely in the chest, causing him to drop his weapon in shock.

Re: Caravan to Al Menir

The two bandits who first met Doomrazor do mot fare well. The first strike splits the chest open and cleaves through the collarbone, leaving one arm dangling as blood gushes from the massive wound, and out of his moth and nose.

The second bandit is cleft diagonally accross his abdomen on the upswing, spilling his intestines on his feet.
Both sway, and collapse about a second later.

The majority of the remaining bandits seem to hesitate in their movements.

Re: Caravan to Al Menir

Pressing the advantage, Haveron continued to stride forward, spreading out from the Ogre and towards another one of the bandits. He tried to illicit an attack by feinting a second spinning attack, but followed up with an up thrust of his pommel to the man's face.

[Private to GM: Okay

Okay, so will move into engage the next one. He'll feint and step in to close range and then do a 2 handed uppercut with his sword's pommel to the shin of the other enemy.

The goal is to spin/feint inside the man's guard and then smash him with the hilt of the weapon to send him sprawling but not necessarily kill him.

I can roll as needed, but im happy for you to do what you think is best in terms of rolling

Thanks!
