Berry does her best to blend in with the other workers in the caravan. She is mildly concerned Hasim ab Quadeer is going to try and get her to do more.

The caravan progresses a few hours past the former bandit encampment and begins to set up camp. It should only be one more long day's march until out of the mountains, and then another two days to the city.

Tomorrow you will be close to the area you are planning to visit, but you do need to reach the city and be discharged from the caravan.

The night passes uneventfully, although Gareth  wakes un inside a circle of salt.

Berry continues whispering to Gareth. "Sure, sure that makes sense, but have you considered your afterlife? You should get those details locked down. Get concrete deals, not the vague stuff that the 'good' gods offer. Just a suggestion." She smiles at him.

Gareth looks at the other two in surprise, and thinks for a moment.

"Afterlife? Maybe I should become a Lich, are you suggesting? Is that why Var thinks I don't need to worry about it? Or something similar?"
