On the second floor are the conference rooms, and also some private quarters... the small conference room is available.

Making his way to the second floor Broderick checked with the Guildsman, Floor Manager, if there was a room they could use to plan their next expedition. Broderick was informed there was and they could use it. Arranging for some light refreshments and non alcoholic beverages before heading to the room.

Grimaldi followed and when all was set down, poured himself a cup of drink, as he waited for the the meeting to commence.

Taking a seat Broderick glanced between the Guildsmen It appears only you two are interested in venturing forth what are your thoughts about further exploration in terms of financial arrangements and such

"Well, the first problem we have, is getting through the gate. We'll need to either get ourselves a key through the proper channels, or employ one skilled with opening locks..."

Sederic follows quietly, his gear in tow. Upon reaching the office he finds a seat and places his gear carefully beside him.
"I'm still very interested, and I think we are capable, at the least, of going down there and scouting. If it gets to be too much we can come back with the information we've gathered and try to assemble a larger group to clear the trouble, if we stumble upon any.  If there happens to be any magical items amongst the treasures, i can definitely detect them and possibly lead us to them," Sederic says, his confidence evident, the promise of adventure warming his blood and exciting Miekka.

Broderick nodded Master Grimaldi you recall my suggested means of dealing with the Slorn? If I didn't have a means of achieving that it would have been a pointless. The question of a Key to continue the search was made while I was in the process of addressing that Obtuse Priest's deliberate attempt to usurp my authority, thus placing everyone's life at further risk. I would like to apologies, to you both for not clarifying this at the time as I assumed the request for a Key was a continuance of this disagreement with the Priest, which considering the issue of addressing my authority was at being resolved.

Once the matter of amending the group decision of how to dispatch the Slorn was was resolved the issue of gaining access beyond the grate was being considered. You both, as professionals skilled in adventuring, indicated it that we return here, I Acquiesced to your decision.

I did not and still do not have a key to the grate, however this is not the only way of gaining access to the area beyond it. We can gain access to the area beyond the grate which is why we are discussing how to proceed.


ooc Broderick previous encounter with the Slorn was at a different location please see the maps provided, yet Melchizidek critized him for the danger this change in location presented which was beyond my control. The group decided on a plan of dealing with the Slorn was made prior to the encounter. Changing that without plan without majority decision was detrimental to the group. During the disagreement with the Priest, Broderick suggested group discuss amending the plan, Melchizidek was the only one who wanted to do so. "Yes, I recall, and I'd vouched for you thusly. You seem to be a man of contacts, perhaps you can get us through the gate, under...pretenses?" He cracked a half smile.

Broderick returned Grimaldi's half smile Perhaps, this may be possible however we need to clarify terms before considering anything further. What were you both thinking, standard, variant such as bonus, part arrangement or something else?
