In reply to Aegis (msg # 380):

"We do, but first of all we need to find them, and then stay hidden until they find the rest of our group. Then we need to hit their mages, then their archers. It might even be better if you sneak up on them with your axes so the first they know of you is their axy-dents!"

In reply to Narrator (msg # 382):

Reanna will start to follow the path as stealthily as possible, taking what time she need to follow it.

[Private to GM: Stealth 18, rolled 13, 9, 17, 11. Not sure if 17 is a critical fail with a skill of 18...or even if it will be needed.

Rolled a 6 to track them, Per 14 (IQ 13), default. Any other rolls needed?

“Let me electrify your bow before you attack them,” Dne says in that hideous croaking voice of his.  “I’ll hit them with a spell at the same time.  The poor worms!”

In reply to Dne Utrotare (msg # 386):

From the sneaky group: I  am going to need three successful tracking rolls (per-5) with a +2 on the first, and stealth rolls for everyone in the group.

For the loud group on the road, I am going to need three perception rolls.

In reply to Darius Kopaki (msg # 390):

Reanna initially makes a good effort in finding the tracks, but she soon looses them.

"If no- one else  can track them, we should head back to the road and travel along beside it, out of sight. Good thing the others were to wait three hours before leaving..."

[Private to GM: Rolled 6 over, 3 under, then 5 rolls between 4 and 6 over. Passed stealth by 3.]

Renea was able to track back to the point the two men had startked the dear, but they appear to have been movibg more carefully before that point.  A high vantage point might be a way to spot a cookfire.

Dne starts climbing air until he spots the tell tale signs of a campfire.  (As always in such situations, he is grateful that he is also able to fall like a cat!)

In reply to Aegis (msg # 396):

Dne spots a smoke trail, and is able to direct the others toward it. Aegis moves soundlessly, fading from tree to tree like the shadow of a leaf. He finds no trail but after taking direction from Dne, comes accross an area that has seen frequent foit traffic, but looses the thread. Somewhere near... But where?

A land navigation roll (IQ-6) by anyone will land you where Dne saw the smoke.

Before continuing, Dne will climb back down to earth, of course.  But he does offer to rise back up, if necessary to help the party regain its bearings.
