Azrael steps to the right to see behind Marcella

A crossbow twangs, and the bolt sinks into the doorframe beside Marcella.  Azrael can see that behind the devout infernal woman is the other infernal that Christine had chased off earlier... And Malga'Mar recognizes her as the woman two of his original party disqualified from the expedition.
Like Marcella, she is bleeding from her eyes. Unlike her, she is clutching a crossbow, and not praying.

Stenet roars, rushes the door, and slams Marcella out of the way, then stops in between her and the other woman.




OOC:  Move and Attack, Shield Rush.

Marcella needs to roll her basic thr-5 (unless she's got super slam abilities) and then if she scored higher than Stenet I need to amend this post... otherwise she makes a DX test if she rolls over half but under his damage, or falls automatically if she rolls half or less.  Or she could Dodge (or Parry or Block).   On a Dodge, Stenet will still just run past her and try to end between her and the crossbow armed woman.

If Stenet moved 3 yards as part of the rush his damage is at +1.  +2 if he moved his full 5 yards of movement.

If Infernals count as Demons for Higher Purpose, he gets another +1 to damage...

Azrael moves quickly to Marcella's aid.

Marcella is thrown to the ground, and raises herself to a kneeling posture before the bishop, blood tears forming trails down her face, and she graciously accepts Azrael's hand, but remains kneeling.

Blinking blood from her eyes, the D'Ivore agent drops the crossbow and draws a long knife.


Both she and Marcella count as demons as far as Stenet is concerned.

Stenet steps forward throwing himself completely into shield slamming the Infernal back and further away from Marcella.
