In reply to Mario Crowfoot (msg # 348):

Clarence throws the dagger away and grabs the crossbow bolt, trying to pull it out next.

[Private to GM: Rolled ST exactly to pull that out.]

"We shall see what happens when I heal him after that. If he survives, then that is good. But if he dies, then it may be that his god has called him to attend them."
Nodwin cocks his head to the side.
"Another possiblity is that if this was started by a malicious power, then they may find his failure as a reason to ensure he departs this plane, leaving no living evidence of their interference."

Re: Near the bone gate

Mario pulls his single arrow again, and once more stabs the wounded man with it.

[Private to GM: 04:55, Today: Mario Crowfoot rolled 10 using 3d6.  Fast Draw (Arrow) (15).
04:55, Today: Mario Crowfoot rolled 5 using 3d6.  DX to stab with arrow (13 + unknown bonus for restrained target).
Each arrow lasts one minute after being drawn from the Cornucopia quiver, so should be three copies stuck in the man now.

Mario continues to watch the man's condition, waiting for the first of the three arrows to fade.

Mario watches the man's eyes as Jareth asks his questions, and moves his hand from the fletching of the arrow in his quiver, to that of the first one he stabbed into the man's flesh -- waiting for that arrow to vanish.

Your minds are suddenly filled with the jumbled, chaotic and violent thoughts of the wounded man, who it seems, lost his mind some time ago.
It is with greater misfortune that you experience this filtered by the Ymid's point of view.
