The Valdassyan  stepped forward, spoke, and bowed.

"I should like to accompany Chye, if it is your will to send us as envoys. I am at your service, my Omo. You have been a gracious host to me, and I am eager to prove my worth to your house." Tanaka steps forward as well, bowing.

I will give you a writ in Aralaise for you to deliver to Baron Pequenaud that finalizes our arrangement, as well as  a coffer of silver that should pay for the shipment of several wagons worth of rice. I am told that the area of Veroigne is rife with banditry, and that the Baron's troops are overwhelmed by the number of them.  Those of you who wish to go on this expedition shall go, along with some of the household who are experienced drovers, and with wagons I have in holding in the Merchant's district.  This is not a glorious sounding adventure, yet it will bring honor. additionally, I need you to evaluate the state of the Sahudese who are workers in the rice paddies there, and see if their needs are being met. There are some trade goods that shall accompany you, for the purpose of those workers, spices and goods from home, that they might not have access to.  You will depart after I deal with Akira no Aku, and resolve this matter at last."






OOC you will be traveling the same route as the other group heading there, but for a different purpose. you may meet, but you each have different tasks to manage.

Chye stores a portion of his money in the safe keeping of the Omo, and practices extensively with his nunchaku, improving his skill, and honing his technique to high precision, matching his skill with swords and pole arms. "Osu!"
OOC: i also have accumulated some cps with my named weapon naginata, i want to invest in enchantments for it. i've accumulated 13 so far, not counting what i got for using it extensively during our last battle.

Having found a goodly sword, Iskander hones his swordsmanship, practicing with Chye in the training yard. He also stores a portion of his money with the Omo, for safekeeping while on his journey. OOC:He brushes up on his orienteering high enough to get a serviceable cartography default of 12, from that. he also adds fast draw broadsword, and main gauche, so he can now draw both at the same time, being ambidextrous.

Iskander stands in his appointed spot, probably inconspicuously.

Entering first are two bannermen, followed by two columns of musicians, followed by two ashigaru, and four dragonmen carrying a sedan chair with Akira Aku No seated in it. Behind follow two more ashigaru.

After spending an hour attuning his new amulet and a quick trip to the Guild to learn some new spells, Ales returns to the Omo's manor just in time to hear and see Akira's gawkish processional.

Ales gets in his assigned place in the line, making sure the Omo's crest is prominently displayed on his shield as a rebuff to Akira.

Otherwise, he stands there stoicly as he waits to see what news Akira brings to the Omo's, his hand not far his scimitar just in case.
