Two levels deep: Broderick's expedition continues

Continuing from Broderick's expedition:

The corridor continues past the unusual configuration of floor and ceiling grates and there are a pair of double doors to the right hand side of the corridor fatened with a thick, rusty chain.

Broderic examines the chains, then turns to the  Fre Noe do you think this also restraints those who perrished and are risen. If so would you be able to rectify both this and the previous restless forms by correctly laying them to rest?

[Private to GM: Are the chains of a similar age and make as the one they found earlier? Does there appear to be any trap?

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 2):

The chains seem to be of an age with the last set.
"Lay them to rest? Final rest takes most of my energy to bestow and almost a quarter of an hour to perform, and that is for one corpse at a time. I have not the ability to repel them, but there are means to dispose of them, if that is which you desire."
He pats his mace with the palm of his hand.

[Private to Narrator: there are 12 plague zombies within. They can be outrun easily, and below is a staircase into a large area with side rooms. The Hadereum wi.l want this site]

Fre Noe; shall we undertake to rectify both instances of this error in burial, in the manner you have indicated?

"If there are unliving things locked within, for us to enter, they must be released. I fear for them to be given true rest, they must first be dismembered
before it is safe for any lengthy rituals.
I have my mace, three of us hace swords, and yon mechanical man has a setting maul. We should be able to do this."

Four to three;  sounds a challenge. Can you describe them, in the hope Fre Noe ca identify the type they are. I've heard there are many different variations of these foul creatures. [Private to GM: if he can Phylicity also attempts to determine what they are.]

"Claude is uncertain. They have flesh to them, and do not see him. He says there are some kinds that can, who drain energy at a touch, but these are not that kind. He never studied these things when he was able, it did not interest him, and there was already one occultist in our marriage."

In reply to Frer Noe (msg # 10):

At least they are mostly physical; which suggest they can be dealt with in a conventional manner. Before the chain securing the door is removed we should decide if we either allow these creatures full access or bar one door. If full access Frer Noe should be in the centre Smasher the Right, I'll take the left; the rest of you in the second and third ranks wherever you think best. If limited access Smasher to the front with Frer Noe and I in support, the rest of the group as they wish behind us.

As there was no reply, from the others, to his question Broderick gave a shrug If you will Thank you Master Timeon once the Chain was removed the door was as quietly as possible opened to allow him to assess the room beyond.

Clairspell takes effect with a loud screech, as the lock was very rusted. The padlock is open, but still connected to the chain. There is a moaning noise within, and the sound of heavy treads on steps.

As the doors open, three undead shapes shamble forth, moaning. Several more appear to be behind them on the steps.

Frer Noe is to the left, smasher in the center, and Broderick is to the right. You have initiative, lets roll some attacks.
