Even inebriated as he was, Aegis recognizes this as a significant question. He hadn't cared much about the previous discussion, since he was the hired help. It was his job to kill who and what he was told to, and beyond that he didn't much care. The money, however, that meant something. It takes an effort to pull his eyes away from the bodices and female rumps in the room, but Aegis is successful in doing so. With a loud belch, he turns to listen more intently to the conversation.
