"Meanwhile, we need to decide whether to follow this tunnel in trying to reach our goal, or wait for that thing to leave and cross to another of these tunnels, or continue trying to make progress on the lower level."  He suddenly looks up into space.

"Hold on, let me try asking these goblins if they know which way is best to reach the troll warrens."  He turns to the goblin who answered his earlier questions.

"Skoros ñuhoso ah vulgtmnahog l' l' troll agl?"

One of the goblins responds after a long silence, and points with his chin at Ulo and Raffik and Hrunting.
"cahff uh'e mg nog fahf agl c' f' mggoka'ai hup yog."

Brunhilda, meanwhile, keeps climbing away from the thing that scared her so much. In Tommies direction.

She will pause when it is safe to do so in order to attach her climbing spikes.

OOC: I did ask about the cats before, but I could not find an answer. What happened to them?

What is a calcico? I assume it is greeting Brunhilda...

OOC: A calico, in reference to cats, is a cat (always female) with random-seeming patches of three different color types -- typically white, orange, and tabby -- like a bad patchwork.  Similar but different to a tortoisehell.

Brunhilda just pats them as they eat.

Virgilio perks up, previously unaware that domestic cats had their own speech.

"Wait, cats can talk?" Looking at Tommy, Jendrich adds "the four legged ones, I mean... But seriously why did no one tell me about that? And do other animals talk?"

Not knowing the answer Bratu remains quiet.

Dne’s head abruptly twitches from one side to another as he struggles to make sense of the conversation.  It doesn’t help that there are cats around… he doesn’t necessarily fear them, but their presence is never pleasant for a bird.
