Re: In Pursuit of the Eye

She also wondered what an Otty was but the question was already asked. She figures she will have to keep an eye out everywhere. "Lets just try and avoid the slimes"

In reply to Sorsha (msg # 52):

"The Otty's are part of the solid waste disposal system, but they get violent
if they aren't fed on schedule.  We have two more gates to get through before you get
 to the temple district."

With that the orc leads you down a leftward turning corridor to another gate, this
one with a set of spikes installed on the opposite side.

"KEep up Jocie! All you gotta do is write down the map..

Spikes on this one? For the ottys?"
a grin spread across his face, she was so pretty when flustered and angry. A chuckle crossed his lips soon after.

Re: In Pursuit of the Eye

"They sound like fun..." he said, a spark of eagerness about his voice. He'd ignored (or was totally unaware) of the exchange between the group's two companions but considered the spiked grate carefully. "Why the spikes? How does that stop them? Wouldn't a normal grate work just as well... " he considered.

Re: In Pursuit of the Eye

In reply to Kebrel Hoart (msg # 60):

The condition of the corridor is a little different; while the vaulting is still
arched steeply, and mostly intact, there are places where the decorative frieze of
tiles at the base of the arch are knocked off, and there are uneven cracks int he flooring.  In a few places the ceiling tiles are missing between the ribs of the
arches, and there are signs of the area being unstable to anyone.

"Yes, wonderful. I love large lizards, especially for cooking and parts. " she looks at the map maker "Don't forget to put the spikes on the map in case we are running hell bent back this way"

Re: In Pursuit of the Eye

"Jocelyn!" Kebrel shouted, there would be no fighting between his companions while they were tredging through a grimy and glorified sewer system - this wasn't the place nor was it the time and not while the mage answered to him.

His glare was angry and threatening, something that he often offered to displeasing subordinates.

should it be absolutely necessary:
All out Defence (+2): sacrificial shield block
03:23, Today: Kebrel Hoart rolled 10 using 3d6. shield +2 (15).

That one can look after herself alright..."

"I was checking a rough spot ahead, where the fracking wall was collapsed,
boulders and shite all over, and could see down this farging hole into some lower
tunnel, and this cork sucking bastidge climbs out. Get ready, its coming!"

From down the dark passageway, a loud scrabbling noise can be heard, getting louder.
