Island Fortress of the Baron

As the rain settles, the flag for the ferry is finally raised.
A motley assortment of supplicants, applicants and envoys head
toward the docks.

A large damp merchant bumps another passenger and then immediately pats a heavy pouch,
before trying to press further ahead.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 3):

Oly moves close, a small blade between his fingers and he checks to be sure of what sort of connection holds the purse to his belt. If leather, or thin rope, he moves to lift it with out bumping the man, but waiting until he is slightly distracted or bumped by another.

The furse falls heavily into your hand, as the guardsman on the dock leans in to talk
to a well dressed woman boarding the ferry next to an acolyte in purple robes.
[Private to Oly: checking it here?]

Re: Island Fortress of the Baron

Oly takes a couple of turns and looks for a quiet spot with a decent view of anyone approaching, when clear, He then empties the purse into his and into a pocket or two to distribute it around and look for anything out of the ordinary. As soon as the purse is empty, it gets thrown into a nearby bush (I am assuming it isn't especially unique). Oly then does his best to get lost ... He'll go into an out house somewhere away from here and the docks, bar the door and look at his gain in more detail. He will move any valuable coin around to various hiding spots in his clothing.

Re: Island Fortress of the Baron

Seeing the rain finally stopped Zarrat makes his way to the dock. Package held gingerly infront of him. A crowd starts to form as passengers gather to board the ferry. Joining them he glances in their direction assessing them in a way to prevent colliding with any and having the items crushed. Ahead he spots Oly milling about the group following a well proportioned fellow. Turning he glances behind him to judge if he'll be crowded in. ooc if so he'll lift the parcel up to avoid accidentally being crushed. Boarding the barge he finds a place he suitable place to be away from sea spray and splashes.

Re: Island Fortress of the Baron

The passage on this sail barge is slow, but thankfully not overlong.
After paying a $2 boarding fee, you quickly found a place toward the rear that was
Less damp and filthy than the rest. While your view of the island is limited,
Your view of the city is not, and what a view it is.
