A strange figure wearing a beaked mask and carrying a jeweled staff enters the room, dressed in brown leather.  He looks around.

A dwarf woman jerks away from him and cursed, her hair standing on end where not confined to braids. She gives him a dirty look.

He glances at her indifferently, then looks away.  A moment later, he observes a dust bunny on the floor.  He points at it, and a gust of air gently blows it away.

“Filth,” he mutters in a horrible voice like the echoes at the bottom of a deep gravelly, slimy well.  “The floor I mean, not you,” he assures the dwarven female.

He looks at her strangely.  “Jolt?  That was a simple air power I used.  I hope I’m not shedding loose sparks!  At any rate, what do you do here?  Tell me all about your business.”

The mage grabs a bowl of hot brown and eyes the beaked creature.
"I smell ozone."

Dne sizes up Harlan.  “You do?  Strange that I do not.”  He inhales deeply.  “What miserable excuse for aftershave is that?”

Masugatan fetches himself a nice hot bowl of slop and then finds a remote corner in which to eat it.  He’s really looking forward to trying out his new weapon...

Sederic strolls in, rubbing sleep from his eyes. He pulls the long hood of his cloak back, revealing green hair tied into fairy locks at the back of his head and signs of elven lineage, though mixed. He scans the room inquisitively, searching for any points of interest as he readjusts the ornate sword on his back. He finds a table out of the way and takes a seat after throwing his cloak over the back of the chair, stifling a yawn. He can't help but notice the bird-thing and smirks, taking note of the creature as he's never seen one before.

Dne takes in all the Sederic his eyes can feast upon, and continues staring long after politeness would indicate he should stop.  He doesn’t bother to conceal his inquisitiveness with sly glances, but just looks and looks.

A smirk plays across his lips as he tilts his head in greeting. He lifts a foot and pushes a chair out, indicating for dne to take a seat if he wishes. He fills a cup from his water skin and takes a long drink, shifting his gaze to the other patrons of the hall. He removed his sheath and leans the broadsword against the table.
"It appears things may get interesting yet," he mutters to the sword, a faint hum emanating from the blade as if in response, and he smiles as if he's been told a joke.
