Ardenas, remembering the metal on metal sounds of a few seconds ago, sneaks a glance back down the hall to make sure nothing is sneaking up on the cartographer, porter, and torchbearer, then steps over between fore- and mid-legs, draws another quarrel, and repeats the words and gesture he used earlier -- taking advantage of the creature's inactivity to take determined aim at the the vitals (heart and lungs pretty well have to be in that area).

Same roll I keep failing on neck blows. All I need is a 13 to at least hit torso

Bright blood bubbles around the quarrel, but the beast is still standing, it lunges clumsily at Ardenas, but bites its tongue.

Ooc:Mythosbis kinda waiting for that thing to die.... It look like it is going to die a few time already....

Mindful of the rate he's been spending chi and mana, Ardenas aims another sequence kick at the area where the last quarrel went home, powered only by his body.  Both kicks hit solidly, if not as powerfully as those enhanced by chi.

His uniform, while protective, does not seem as militant as the others. He has an iron key chained to his wrist, and carries a lantern, which he is shining at you and the slorn.
