The ogrekin directs fighters over to a shattered storefront where laborers are trying to repair the roof, while others seem to be whitewashing the walls
of the basement.

A man in fine clothing gives you the once over.
 "You must be Vilgar's new guy"

Grend looks the man up and down. "You guy here to fight?"

In reply to Grend (msg # 3):

"Head down below, into the big room. I got a guy for you to fight."

A couple of people are sitting on benches around the room, and the small man calls over to a big human.
  "This the new guy?"

Grend sighed, then went down to the big room. He would have fought Mr. Fancy Pants.

"I fight that guy?" Grend asked.

In reply to Grend (msg # 7):

"He is your starter. We get a feel for your talent, we match you with
 Fights that will excite the customers. Vilgar said you practice Smasha. I
don't know from fighting styles; usually I sell booze to taverns, so what is
 Snasha about?"

He waved a hand vaguely. "Smasha is... not like human style. Is no one Smasha. Humans have schools, pass lore from human to human. Human kung fu, fight like tigers, like crane, like snake style."

"Smasha is fight like orc. Lore is natural. Teachers, yes, but each teach own Smasha. My Smasha faster than other Smashas. Better. Brutal. Powerful."

In reply to Grend (msg # 9):

"Let's get this started!"

"Okay." Grend walked up to the brawler and punched him in the face, a powerful blow that could split flesh and shatter bone.

In reply to Grend (msg # 11):

The big man blocks the punch with his forearm and takes a swing, possibly
grazing Grend's face.

The orc slapped the incoming fist aside, then stepped in, grabbing the brawler's arm in a tight grip. "Gonna break your arm. Hope you don't mind."

The brawny fighter falls into Grend's trap and his arm is locked.
Desperately, he tries to knee the topknotted orc in the groin.

Gren shifted his hip to block the incoming knee with his own leg.

"Nice try. Now I gotta break your leg, too." While twisting the man's arm, Grend stamped down on his shin just below the knee.

In reply to Grend (msg # 15):

The fighter resists the lock and moves with it, and deflexts the kick, but
Cannot take another action.

Grend continued twisting the man's arm and thrust his head in an attempted but failed headbutt.

In reply to Grend (msg # 17):

The man resists damage to his arm, and tries to sieze control of the head
butting he percieves Grend attempting, leaving him without a defense...

The orc let go of the brawler's arm, backflipped away, and kicked the brawler in the face.
