Actually I said I was a mage... a journeyman mage, but still quite capable. Mellarill is damn good with a bow ... although a bit coarse in her speech. Brodak is competent with his Prodd and frighteningly effective with his axe. We work for one share of the spoils each, except for me ... I get 2 shares.

Raising an eyebrow, Nodwin speaks up, "And why would anyone have cause to claim more than a single share, especially before they have even been formally accepted?  Those who join and contribute to the group will all receive equal rewards."

In my previous expeditions, team leads get a double share... and I bring a team. I simply stated that up front so you can decide... it would be rude at best to drop that on you after you added us to the group.

"I see.  While I understand where you are coming from, we are not giving anyone special treatment. Everyone who goes on this expedition with us will receive the same equal share of the profits as everyone else. I don't mind having a larger group than we initially thought, since more people means the ability to explore more and bring back more loot.  But everybody gets the same payment."

Turning to the other newcomers. "Well met, yes we are looking for partners to assist us in finding profit in the undercity.  We have a fighter, archer and cleric so far confirmed as members."

Ooc: is grimbo a front line fighter or thief knife fighter type?

Looking at the black-clad goblin, Mario muses.  "Well, I did say something earlier about leaving me walking if I can still use my bow -- and here comes this one.  Razakeel, is it?  Can you help in laying undead if we find them, or only raise them -- or are you still studying to reach that level?  If the latter, what can you do that would help us in the undercity?"

Nodwin waves at himself.
"For example, I am Nodwin Zideqick, an Initiate of Vejovis.  I have some skills in healing, as well as close fighting with my staff and a bit of ranged combat with my little crossbow and what Vejovis provides to me. With his blessing I can create food and water in an emergency, and light in the dark places.  I can also sometimes find the lost or hidden.  I also have a license that temporarily allows me to recover items from the undercity free from the city tax.  This can be upgrades to a permanent license and can expand to cover the group that accompanies me."

Well I know something about alchemy and cartography… and I can do movement, including some missile spells, haste, fire, some detection, magelock, light and lend/recover energy

Mellarill is a fine scout and excellent archer, she can hold her own with short sword too

Brodak is an Orc Warrior… a strong axe and shield fighter who has and can use a Prodd as well. He speaks Orcish as well as Aralaise. We come as a team.

"I'm Mario Crowfoot.  I've been improving my archery since I was old enough to pick up two sticks and make a bow and arrow out of them.  I can fire more arrows in a given time than anyone I know, I never run out, and my accuracy is excellent.  As backup, I'm also very good with a quarterstaff, and competent with a knife.  I can climb, sneak, and pick locks, when necessary, and I'm capable of making my own bows and arrows at need."
