Jareth pulls himself, Clarence, and Charlene out of the way in the small closet, making room for Brodak to get down the stairs.

Brodak struggles to get down the narrow stairs...  it takes him a bit longer but he makes it and swings his shield to the front.

Mellarill's cultist goes down hard.
A knife flies  from Grimbo's place in the shadows and snags
in one of the Cultists  robes.

Mario takes down the wounded cultist to his side.

Jocelyn ,  winged knife takes two rolls, casting followed by innate  attack- make a roll!

Mario holds position, watching for any more cultists coming from beyond the two bodies in the corridor.

Jocelyn's  blade leaps into the cultist's gut, and he falls with a groan. One more remains,and he shrieks

"Try takin one alive if ya can!"

Jocelyn concentrates and casts again...

At the cultist's shout, Mario looks swiftly over his shoulder past Jocelyn and Mellarill, then returns his attention to the rightward corridor.

"Taking one alive is all well and good, Jareth, but they're a lot quieter when they're dead."

The cultist smacks into the wall and collapses. Grimbo advances toward he moaning wounded and draws his knife.
"Just one live one, right?"

"Aye, one for questioning aught'a do," Jareth answers loudly, then he looks at Razakeel and asks quietly, "Can ya question t'e dead Razakeel?"

Grimbo quickly dispatches the two in the forward group and ties the hands of the unconscous ones, stuffing a strip of cloth from its robe into its mouth.

Mario speaks softly, mostly over his shoulder.

"Don't need to worry with one of these, Grimbo, but you might want to check the one that isn't flooding the hallway.  I'd do it myself, but I'm much better standing still."

Grimbo looks puzzled. "'Flooding the hallway'?"

"The first one I shot must have bled right out -- there's a couple gallons on the floor down there."

Since Grimbo addressed the ones she and Jocelyn had dealt
 with, Mellarill heads down to evaluate the two Mario had
done in.

Ooc  I was covering  Grimbo for that and I had him throwing a knife at the three to the left, then retrieving the knife and disposing of Jocelyn  and Mellarill's kills

OK... his chatter with Mario, who is some distance in the other direction really confused me...

OOC: Ok. I didn't know where I was while Narrator was running me.

"Zeezeel, can ya stop t'ese corpses from gettin back up as zombies?  Easily?"  In a slightly louder voice, "We need to get t'e corpses out of t'e way in case we gotta flee fast.  Upstairs with 'em?  Or just stacked up in t'e corner of t'e stair room?  Mind, if we drag t'e bodies out when we go it'll go a long way to gettin that Writ Nodwin's got done up permanent for cheap."



OOC:  Not tryin to step on Nodwins toes as leader, but he ain't posted in a bit and Grimbo's Player is down at the moment back amongst the living.  Good.

"Stack them in the room, to the side for now.  The people in the back can try to haul them upstairs if they can.  It would help to have proof of our efforts against the cultists."

As you drag the bodies toward the stairs, ypu notice a few
things about them; they have black stains on their hands and
half healed scratches on their faces. Their robes are
irregularly dyed a deep sepia and they have wooden cruciform
necklaces  that  seem a little funny in their construction.

The bound cultist is starying to stir.

Grimbo kneels next to the prisoner and holds his blade against the man's neck. "Shh."
