In the far distance, the sunbolt illuminates a number of
smooth walled towers before slamming into one.

Gorgath continues his, albeit slow, march towards the creatures.

Ulo quickly steps away from her 'hiding spot' and jogs after Gorgath, "Wait!  I make you acid proof too!"

Johan stays roughly online with Gorgath, but roughly 3 yards or so to his right side. They try to keep this critter roughly centered between them.

The wounded creature seems to concentrate on Mischa, but
One of its eyestalks suddenly wilts and the eye on it goes
bloodshot. The air around it seems to waver, and everyone
feels a sensation like pins and needles in their face.

A rip in the fabric of reality tears into the air just above
it, leaking purplish radiation and raining dust motes that
bend light around them, distorting the shape of the creature.

A long suckered tentacle as thick around as a human thigh reaches down out of the portal, and wraps around the
creature's neck!

Johan stops dead...

Ulo stops moving forward, "Mida kuradit?"

Sorsha wakes up and looks at the thing wondering if she wished she was still stunned. She starts building an explosive lighting.

The ogre stops at Ulo's request and then his mouth falls open as the oddness happens before him.

The tentacle wipes back, pulling the
smaller pit person through the portal,
which slams shut, leaving an uncanny
silence.

In the distance there seems  to be
consternation among the pit creatures,
why gather in a knot, and then slink away.

I would nay call it a friend, but it saved us a bit of rouble. Maybe we will be able to talk instead of fight now.

"Maybe actually try speaking before attacking.  It may help."


She moves up to Gorgath, touches him and whispers a word.  "You are safe from the acid. We should move quickly, you are large, this will be tiring to keep going."


OOC:  19:52, Today: Ulo rolled 10 using 3d6.  Casting Resist Acid on Gorgoth, skill 14 (maintaining two spells).
Cost 3FP, maintenance will cost 1/minute.  Presuming Gorgath is SM+1.
