Re: In the palace of Sakemoko
He continued to bow low.
"Pardon me, lord, but I would not trust Jin with your resources or servants unless you have a strong spell over him. On numerous occasions, he ignored sound advice that danger was ahead or trudged on while others were hurt or injured. While it did little damage this time, what if he had led our honored guest into a trap and the others could not reach them in order to help protect him? Jin, in my opinion, seems to care for no one but himself. I believe you to be wise, Sakemoko; perhaps, for the sake of Jin's massive ego, you might move him to be your personal bodyguard and keep him close to your watchful eye."
Knowing the harshness of his words, he quickly continued on, changing the subject. "On the other hand, your servants Airis and Chou served admirably and I would love an opportunity to work along side them once again. Airis has both beauty and skill with weapon, and Chou is really unique among his kind. And while Chou did cause an avalanche early on, I do not believe his motives to be selfish or unkind, and I have forgiven him."
"If you need people to go retrieve this Oni, I would be glad to assist. We simply can not have such creatures roaming the earth."
As he talked, he let the magic energy flow into him, restoring his mana reserves.
