The Satyr is indeed horned ad well as wreathed, but is not being held in awe by the plutocrats.

Iskander approached at a leisurely pace, not wanting to give any threatening vibes off and also so he could try and pick up some of the conversation, as there seemed to be a problem here. He thought it best to listen a bit, before speaking. Perhaps it might not be the time to barge into the scene..."Let's see what the problem is here..before I speak to them."

Ales was in awe of the satyr, having studied them in his youth, but never having seen a real-life example.   He could sense the tension between the priests and the satyr, and sensing this could get nasty quick, started to survey the area for tactical advantage in case the group needed to defend the divine-ish creature, or even to escape with it.

He leaned over to Chou and, in a voice only he could hear, "why aren't these priests giving the creature the respect it's due?  It's obvious that it is not something ordinary, like satyrs just pop up at your local temples every other day."

"I can only presume that the satyr has done something that offends the priests."

The Hadereum  is a few hundred  yards off, and while most of
it is below ground, its dome is still several times larger
than the shrine the satyr is standing in front of.
You can barely hear it, but one of the plutocrats shrugs and

"I am used to worshipers touching the statue, but this
was just beyond... I   saw her for a minute, some kind of horrible..."

He pauses for a moment, his expression shifting almost slackjawed.

"Actually she was hot, four arms and all, but she didn't
Want me... and the sanctity went up after she did it."

"What happened...? I'm following up on a portent...perhaps...I can help?"

Jin tapped Iskander on the arm. "He says that a divine being walked in, blessed his statue, and increased the sanctity of the temple. That's what we're after. Four-arms. Ask him where she went."

"May we enter the sanctity of your temple? This is whom, the portent has led us to.. and we must find her."

In reply to Iskander (msg # 930):

The satyr looks concerned and embarrassed, and the plutocrats
laugh and turn to walk off.

The satyr looks at you
"A portent led you to the temple of Priapus? I thought the oracle of the pool was dead?"

"The four armed woman left your temple," Jin was losing patience with the ridiculous creature and didn't care about its dick god. "Where did it go?"

Airis looks at Jin "I would believe a 4 armed woman is some kind of demon. So we should find it quickly."

"Among the Sahudese gods more arms just means more power," Jin said. "Besides, the goat man said her touch increased the sanctity of his temple. And Fuwara said we were looking for a celestial being to balance out the efretti."

"We seek more information about this being -- more description beyond her nakedness, invisibility, and number of arms, so that we might identify and locate her.  We wish to seek her aid."

"Ler me show you where I saw her last."
 and heads into the temple
