In reply to Oren (msg # 368):
"If I did not value your opinion, I would not have left Northport with you. But there is a difference between valuing your opinion and blindly following you. When you climbed down the rope, I would have had to leave a long time friend and Ally at the surface with a large amount of supplies, take a very high risk and climb down after you, since I do not usually climb are have very poor skills in it. Further, it is unlikely I could easily climb back up. But rather than checking these details, you just climbed on down while I was trying to work out the low sanctity of this place. So I found my own way down, though not without problems, but nothing I could not overcome.
To address point one specifically, I have repeatedly said we value your input, but you seem to ignore that if we don't show it with blind obedience, which is something I only give to a God, never to a human. So we have valued and considered your points, but not necessarily in the way you wanted them addressed. I have not questioned all of your decisions, but I have queried details of some, as you often lack details when making a decision, and I have questioned others outright, when my own concerns were ignored.
Your second point follows on from the first. You may often be right, but you are not always right. Your input is valued, but not infallible, and can be improved with consultation with the rest of the party.
Your third point is also incorrect. Even if your advice was ignored at every turn, which it is not, but even if it was, leaving the group in this situation puts yourself at risk, and weakens the party because they risk loosing all the equipment and a pair of eyes by allowing you to separate from the group. Splitting up is a compromise I have taken great lengths to avoid because it weakens both groups.
These points I have made a number of times, and you seem to have trouble even recognizing them, and you have at no time answered them, so kindly refrain from arrogant claims that none can answer your points."
