The air in here is still and heavy. The narrow passage swings
around  slowly, as if skurting a round room.

Oren keeps an eye on the wall, looking for signs of secret doors.

As the passage swings around to the left, by tapping, you
find a wall hat sounds hollow on the right.

"Hang on a second." Oren looks for the means to open the door. A lever, switch, loose brick, etc.

There is a brick at just above waist height that is loose.

Oren pushes the brick in, and if that doesn't work, tries to pull it out.

Syvanus looks around the inside for any signs of movement ... or past movement. He then scouts in very carefully.

The stairs have over an inch of dust on them, more than would have accumulated since the pay train went missing.

Oren hesitates. "Nobody's been down here in some time. Do we want to investigate and explore, or stay focused on the payroll we're after?"

I am inclined to stick with finding the payroll.
