There is a strong odor of sewage.  On the other side of the gate a very strange creature stands on three legs, its two
upper tentacles  wrapped around the bars. It stands about
three feet high, and is nearly as wide. It has an eyestalk
about a foot tall on top of it, and a mouth about a foot and
a half wide full of small, sharp teeth. There is something to
its size that suggests it may be a juvenile of its kind.
