Re: Second expedition to the abandoned Abbey

Stenet redoubles his efforts to move his stubby legs, and shouts, "Looks like Azrael has something up his sleeve, let's buy him time!"

He continues to run towards the wights.

OOC:  11:32, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 10 using 3d6.  Extra Effort, Movement +1, -4 to roll; Will 10 (14-4).

Stenet is now moving at Move 4!

(The dice roller jammed up and somehow made two rolls, only the first counts).

Christine once again solidifies enough from her vantage point atop the pile to create another fireball.

As soon as I have a clear shot, I throw my axe at the most able-bodied one.

Succeeded throw by 8 due to aiming, not counting ranged penalties.
Damage 7 cutting.

If we can press them back, we can safely pull her out of there."

Re: Second expedition to the abandoned Abbey

Malga'mar again begins to make arcane gestures.  With a grace which seems wholly out of place for an Ogre... even a Half-Ogre, he shifts his feet and allows his body to slowly lurch forward as if it were a large sail catching a coastal wind.

"Slée-mõn thræ; uh-park-tee-us thræ!"
he exclaims as he stretches his long arm over top of where Jednesa lie unconcious; thrusting his ornate stave toward the wight.  The sound of a building wind begins to emanate from the tip.

OOC: I'm casting Shape Air with enough FP for a Heavy Wind.  My intent is to use Malga'mar's extra reach and the length of the staff to place the starting point basically right in front of the wight's body.  The wind lasts for a minute and can cause knockback to anyone entering the stream of air - which is a yard wide and up to 30 yards long.

It's my understanding that one of the wights is more-or-less straight across from me with Jednesa prone on the ground between myself and the wight.  If that's not the case, I'll edit my post.

Malga'Mar rolled 7 using 3d6.  Shape Air - Heavy Wind
Malga'Mar rolled 10 using 3d6... possible knockback if the wind hits the wight

[Private to GM: Normally this would cost 6 FP, Mal's skill with the spell allows me to produce a heavy wind with 5FP. ]

I move quickly, shield up, to Jednesa, avoiding the wind and staying on the far side from the assailants.
I crouch next to her, and quickly check her for injuries and afflictions.
