Iskander remains where he is for the moment, not wanting to rush headlong into the room.

Raising his voice to a shout, and in his best Sahudese, Chou-Zhen calls out: "Hold!  We can speak before we fight, can we not?"  He lowers his lightning whip, draws his leather whip to the side, and stands still.

"What business have you in the domain of Akira no Aku?"

She flicks her fan impatiently as the archers draw their bows.

Iskander looks over at Jin, and whispers:"What are they they saying in there?" OOC: is assuming this is all going on in sahudese?

"I am sure you already know that we represent the Daimyo, former Guildmaster Sakemoko.  It would seem that your employer has arranged to obtain the property of one of Sakemoko's people, a silver and jade sake set.  We have come to recover that item, which was placed in the protection of Yoshimura Furawa and in which resides a spirit that warms the sake.

"We would happily recover the sake set, with its resident spirit, peacefully.  As you have no doubt seen, we are capable and have thinned the ranks of Akira Komu No's ninjas and soldiers, even disposed of the two demons you sent against us.  Return the sake set, unharmed and with its spirit still within, and we will turn peacefully and leave Akira Komu No's domain.

Iskander sheathed his sai, and drew a small, throwing knife, from behind him.

"Then, in that case, let us kill and be killed", he remarked in Shevnian.
