Pancratium is bronze age/classic greco-roman. It's further from late medieval/renaissance than the modern day is.

Yes, but there'd still be the issues with reading the thread and posting by mistake from the wrong login.  Fixing the thread access would be better (only characters in a thread can post there), except that seems to be at least partially broken at the board software level.

If the wight is still in line with the gust of wind, when would I need to roll for knockback again?  Do I keep the original value that I rolled or would I roll again for the strength of the wind whenever the wight tries to move away from the wall?

In my head, I have an idea about what's going on with the spell, but this is one of the few times I've played a spellcaster with some area effects, so it's a bit new to me.

Speaking of moving, there is negative Ht but not negative fp. Fp below zero is knocked off of hp

It's also tracked to -1xFP as per Basic pg 426, at 0 FP or less you lose both FP and HP when ever you are caused to lose FP and there is a risk of passing out if you do anything besides Do Nothing*.  Once you hit -1 x FP you fall unconscious, no roll, no further FP lose (it's all HP at that point).  At 0 FP or less if you go uncoscious from FP lose (failing a Will roll or hitting -1 x FP) you only regain consciousness if regain positive FP.

Or magic is used, I presume.



* Which is why Jednesa passed out.  Unlike Jareth, she couldn't make the Will checks.

Hmmm.  That's 2 characters out of 3 that hit 0 FP in their first mission.  Wonder if we'll go for the trifecta?

Ulo is my third character... and hitting 4 FP, yeah she's also off to a good start towards hitting 0 FP.  Luckily she also has an excellent Will.
