Re: For want of a T

LOL. I'm glad I signed on late. I noticed that little typo also and would have tortured the poor man had Clem not already done it more politely.

Don't let it bother you Doc. We aren't the type to pick on typos. We all know a simple typo when we see one, but the imagery of that one is just classic. ;)

Re: For want of a T

Of course it might not be a typo... perhaps poor Doc has picked up a bad case of "Leprosy"?

Leprosy comes in a bottle? Not that I'd swear off the bottle cause of it, but I might be a bit more particular 'bout where I fetch my bottles henceforth.

Could be Bessy has been lickin' on Doc's ear. There's been talk at the saloon that Doc's partial to that kind of . . .

Not sure about the Real Time to Game Time ratio/conversion (as in, I'm not sure how well 4 hrs GT = 7days RT will work but it's a start) however I think in principle the concept is a good idea (namely trying to keep some sort of forward time progress IC so that we don't end up going months of RT and it's still morning on the first day of game time).

Re: For want of a T

Internet is finally on, Yay!!!!!! No more checking by my lil fone :)

Timeline deal is worth a try, like Cyrus said "It's a strat" I'm good with running with it and see what happens.

BTW Mav have you posted in the players wanted yet. I haven't seen it and I thot you mentioned ya was gonna do that. I only bring it up cause I just saw a new Western game looking for players also using the Windows system.

Okay, I'm off to read the goings on of the day in Escondido and then get to Lola. Girls been hugging me for awhile now.

Taron's back. there went the game.....

Please all realize, this is a loose guideline I'd like to try to follow, not something that will be enforced. Just a guideline. I don't like timestamps in games and never will.

And no. I didn't post in Players wanted because I wasn't ready. Just flagged us as players wanted. The little red asterix. LOL I will advertise us in players wanted next now that I think I have everything I need (except maps).

As soon as Cyrus... er... the Marshal escorts me, then we can probably skip forward.  Stuff happens.  I like being motivated.  I think Q&D went two days in 5 years...

I'm with this, for now.  Let's see how it plays out, but some kind of guide could be a positive influence perhaps.

Admit it, that's why you timed the move to now.

And maybe I will have to ask the doctor to lend me his ear...  Or not!

Moving Time Along

Moving time along is usually a good thing unless a character is in the throes of passion or something else that shouldn't be interrupted. I like the idea. ;-)

Re: Moving Time Along

Again everyone. This is just a loose guideline not a rule. If you can't get what needs done done within a week of course we will extend things and carry on. It's just a guideline I'd like to follow IF we can.
