Well I HAD planned on attacking the thing to give you time to get away and draw it away from everyone but the GM stomped all over my toes with the Jerk-Who-Follows, LOL!

I have not heard from his lately.  I'm going to wait until we get out of this section before worrying about it.  He may just have had some RL issues come up.

If I don't hear from him when we're done with these ruins, I'll start recruiting again.

Sorry, refresh my memory. Are 'the pools' like water or acid? I'm about to head about but I'll try and search the thread later and post tonight.

If it's water, Selvin can breathe underwater with his symbiote and could check things out.

By the by, have not heard from Belgar. So I will be posting for a new player soon. Any specific slot you guys want filled? Another bard, etc. I think it's a nice and tight group myself. But I'm prejudiced

I think a support role would be nice (I know we have our NPC cleric but wouldn't hurt to have a cleric/druid/bard/oracle/what have you) - but back up tankiness doesn't hurt either.

I'm going to trade in Summon Monster II for Glitterdust instead since SM2 is on the outdated side, but I'm torn on my first 5th level spell.

Mass Stoneskin is really solid (though I'm also not sure if Selvin already as DR) or I could get Cloudkill / Cone of Cold / Lightning Arc.

No DR yet. I could take it at this level but unlikely to.

Also, not saying you shouldn't take it, but Selvin does have Glitterdust. He doesn't get to cast spells a LOT, mind you, but he does have it. lol
