Re: OOC

Hello, all, another Drowned Rat here.  I'm your friendly neighborhood bard.  Looking forward to adventuring with you all.  And giving that no-good-dirty Gaedren Lamm exactly what he deserves.

Hmm, Linton doesn't have one.  His teammates will have to create one for him...

Re: OOC

Hello all, your not always equally friendly Inquisitor for team Drowned Rat here.

I'll be playing an Inquisitor of Damerrich, Empyreal Lord of judiciousness and rightful executions ads well as someone whose day job was executioner and judge before the AP starts.

Now to find a suitable picture for a second generation Half Orc (or quarter orc, though that sounds horrible)

I'm assuming that's a melee type inquisitor?

Can't decide i I should build my melee monster Alchemist or go with the more traditional bomber style..

Re: OOC

Melee yes, swinging a great axe. I'm not sure about the rest of our group though, Paladins kick ass at range (Divine Hunters are great fun) and both Rogues and Bards can be functional for both.

But as Ratfolk it might be more beneficial, from an optimization point of view, for you to go ranged as bomb damage isn't size dependent (and we don't have anyone who can get you Magic Fang potions :P).
Still, fun is the most important bit I think, so go with what you want. Besides, unless you go Vivisectionist you can probably combine the two at level 1 and figure out from there.

EDIT: I've played both melee and ranged Alchemists (playing a ranged one in another game still) and both are great fun.

Re: OOC

Yet both groups have an Alchemist, a Paladin and a Rogue. Will be fun and probably more challenging than originally intended, but that's fine.

Its funny really... My normal choice is usually wizard..
Figured I'd try something different for once.

Same here. I'm usually a wizard or cleric, though I must confess I'm a much better wizard (too many cleric spells to choose from).

Re: OOC

Too bad Cha is a dump stat for me in this case, otherwise I could at least have gotten some utility Sorc/Wiz spells added to my list.

Then again, we could convince our Bard to go for Eldritch Heritage - Arcane and get both a familiar and a small selection of Sorc/Wiz spells :P

Re: OOC

Mangy Dog has potentially 2 healers and potentially 2 trapfinders. Nothing wrong with that. =)

If we want arcane power I'm happy to switch, however. NOT having an arcane caster can make it hard to get through APs

Re: OOC

I could also switch to Wizard if my team wants... my concept works with it (provided I still take some craft Alchemy)

What say you Team Rat?

Yay or Nay?
